My boyfriend and I actually live in DC, and decided to take a "staycation" as The Jefferson has always been regarded as one of the nicest in DC. I am a frequenter of their hotel bar, The Quill, and so I've at least been very familiar with their lobby and bar, so it was great to

We did not stay in a room with a sofa bed but given what a 1st class boutique hotel this is, I would say the sofa bed would be very comfortable. Seriously, they do it all right. The front desk manager, Vivian, is extremely helpful, as is the entire staff. Call and inquire about the sofa bed. You’ll get an honest answer.

How far is the metro from the hotel? I just booked but now I'm being told it's not near any metro station...oh no..
Hi Saint, So glad you booked! We are within walking distance to both the red line and the orange/blue/silver lines. It is a 10 minute walk (.5 miles) to the Farragut West stop (orange/blue/silver) and it is a 7 minute walk (.3 miles) to Farragut North (red). Thank you! The Jefferson, Washington, DC

"Rooms are different; pay extra to get a parlor if you want one."
"Request an upper level room with a Washington monument view. If you can afford it get a suite. The regular rooms are quite snug."
