We had an almost perfect experience. Until a bedbug ruined our stay. Rooms are decent. We had nice view of the pool and city. Unfortunately I got bitten by bedbugs while staying in this hotel. Investigation by hotel was done and no additional bedbugs were found according to their report but I would not stay here again with my family. I’m still recovering from the bites and it has been hard to sleep since. After arriving home we washed all our things and didn’t find any bugs luckily. My advice is check your room carefully when you check in and sleep with a light on if possible.

This hotel is not very clean, the rooms are tiny, and the staff is not very friendly. I paid closed to $200 a night for a room with an uncomfortable bed, old TV, dirty carpet. tiny bathroom, etc, No complimentary breakfast. Parking is $37 a day, I would never consider this option on my next trip.

This hotel is fine. It’s clean, well located, and staff are pleasant. Beds are reasonably comfy, and the pool has good hours. With that being said, it’s incredibly outdated. The decoration is as disappointing as most hotels. Everything is awkwardly placed - almost comically so. There are filing cabinets next to the bed. The tv hangs in a place so odd I’m the room it really makes you wonder what the person who installed was thinking. The lighting is pretty rough. Is it worth the cost? Yes, definitely. Well priced for the location.

Had a great stay at the Plaza in DC. Unlike what I have heard about some other hotels in DC, The Washington Plaza takes their COVID protocols very seriously, requiring masks indoors for anyone over 2, regardless of vaccination status. Felt very safe and comfortable there. While weather precluded us from using it, the outdoor pool looked amazing.

My family and I stayed at the hotel for the weekend. During our stay any time we interacted with the staff, they were always friendly and very helpful. The two ladies at the pool bar, Sarah and Sharda, were on a different level. They were friendly and helpful but, their personalities were amazing and positive. They helped each other and their professionalism was great. We spoke to the Bar Manager Ben, who was one of the most customer service oriented people I’ve ever met. Been assisted us several times during the weekend. He was also very professional and friendly. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful weekend stay!
