Fantastic location and a great little hotel. Bar space downstairs gives you a comfortable place to hang out with a coffee or a drink. Really friendly staff always on hand to help. Liked the convenience of the self serve kitchen downstairs. Rooms pretty small but really comfortable and a great price. Tried the Moxy in NYC but the DC staff give it a much nicer atmosphere.

Good value, but it's a very tight room for two people. Best if you're not planning on being in the room much, just a place to crash. Suggested parking ia couple blocks away in the CityCenterDC mixed use development, which is brightly lit and locked late at night.

Great Hotel. Very modern and energetic feeling. Quiet and comfortable room. The room was a little smaller than other hotels but that doesn't bother me because I just need a cozy and quiet room to sleep after a long day of siteseeing. Very clean room. The air conditioning worked well and kept me cool during the hot and humid summer. I would stay here again.

Pros: This is a cute quaint spot in DC. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and well cared for. Minutes away from the metro station. Cons: Rooms are very small, ironing board is a communal in a shared space with all guest on that floor, rooms are not good for relaxing but excellent if you are planning to stay away from the room for the majority of your trip, no parking.

If you are traveling solo, on a budget, and without a car, this hotel should fit your needs. If not, I would suggest looking for other hotels. A room with a Queen bed is 150 square feet. The bed itself has 2 thick blankets, no comforter. The bathroom is made completely of grooved glass. Turning on the light in the bathroom at night is the equivalent of turning on all of the lights in the room. There is no closet in the room. Parking is 2 blocks away. I’m a lifetime Marriott Bonvoy member. This is not my favorite property of theirs.

Hey Jesseflohr! We GREATLY appreciate our lifetime Bonvoy Members for starters:) Thanks for your loyalty to the Marriott family of hotels and as you mentioned we're not for everyone and we're ok with that. The great thing about Marriott is we have over 30 different and unique brands to satisfy all of our guests and we get it that Moxy just isn't for everyone. Thank you so much for sharing your honest experience and review, as you mentioned our rooms are cozy "New York Compact" if we say ourselves by design with no frills...just a bed bath and a shower. We're fun, funky and designed to appeal to our social butterflies. None the less, we loved having you and greatly thank you for trying us out. LIfe is all about experiences and we're honored to be included in one of your many experiences. Wishing you safe travels...at least now you can say you've been #MOXIFIED:) Christopher
