Seamless check-in, with friendly and attentive hotel staff. We don't share walls well, so traveling can be a challenge for us. But this hotel was the quietest we've ever stayed at. July was a true test, considering it is a busy time of year. The room was well laid out, compact, but modern and comfortable. We could have stayed longer, since we had a stove, microwave and large fridge! We were on the 8th floor facing a private dock and pier with a nice view of the water. But I think all rooms have a water view. They have a small but lovely roof top pool that we did not use because of time constraints. They have a nice bar on the Lobby floor, but we never visited that either. They also have housekeeping daily, which some hotels do not offer. Very convenient location in the lively Wharf area. A bit difficult to find, because GPS takes you to Wharf St, which is really not a street anymore. You wind up at valet parking at Canopy, which is attached to the Hyatt, but it's where you load and unload for either hotel. We ended up leaving the car with the hotel valet, which is more expensive than public parking lots, but in the long run it was very convenient to get the car when we needed it. We never had to wait long. Excellent valet service. We used Uber most the time we were there. High marks to Uber as well. The breakfast at the hotel is included, and it's pretty standard, but a step up from other hotels we've stayed at. You can take your breakfast outdoors to a scenic patio, which was nice. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

The location could. It be better. Everything was within walking distance for us. Note that we routinely walk at least a mile a day. The room, in my opinion, was more than we bargained for. 2 rooms. 2 queen beds in 1, fold out in the other. Worked perfectly for me, my wife and 2 young adult kids

The room was not very clean. The pull out sofa bed is terrible. A person can’t sleep in a hole. Which is what you get when you pull out the bed an attempt to rest on it. Try another hotel. The only nice part was the location.

Horrific check-in process with malfunctioning system and poorly trained staff. Booked two rooms online. At check-in, after a lengthy wait behind two angry customers our nightmare began. Clerk checks us into one room after repeated computer and key card issues. I then ask, about the second room. Clerk she knows she just hasn't gotten to it yet. After a few minutes she says, "you only booked one room and we're booked out." And then she smiles at me triumphantly. I can see that I've been charged for two rooms and I ask her how much the room is a night. She says she can't check because the hotel is booked up. I lost it. A much more helpful manager stepped in and I had to show proof that I'd booked two rooms. It took him so long to wade through computer system and sort out issue that my exhausted family went to one room while front desk continued to figure it out. Tried to make drinks for adults. No ice on our floor. No ice on floor. Below. And so on. Every single ice maker in entire frigging hotel out of order with one out of order sign on one machine. This was for entire two day trip. No ice in the whole hotel. At breakfast, each and every time any of our family members came down, there were no plates, guests standing around asking where you get plates. Guest fed up with this low level service. Guests furious at front desk every time we passed by. What a nightmare, not only for your guests but staff as well. Just an absolutely awful situation and we found the Hyatt Wharf to be an embarrassment and disgrace. You go ahead and make that money folks. You are disgusting.
