I was in town on business and extended a couple days with my family for college visits and touring. Nice hotel but was particularly impressed with the Bell Hops/Greeters/Valet Staff who were so welcoming, attentive abs professional during our comings and goings. Special thanks to Ridi for amazing service…..a real class act!

This is our second stay here. The first time was back in August/September 2019. It is a nice hotel in the beautiful location. We are IHG Platinum Elite, that provide us with a free one class upgrade if available. We were upgraded to Superior Room, higher level (instead of the previous upgrade that get us river view room). It is not facing directly to the river, but we still get a view of it. Room is really nice and clean. (I tried to ask for an upgrade to river view room, but they wanted an extra money for it. It was only for a night, so we decided not to take the upgrade, considering we get this as a reward redemption). Service was great. Location is definitely great. Several businesses have closed at The Wharf, but it is still a nice place to be in. Glad to see tourism has picked up again in the Wharf area. And this hotel is definitely a nice place to stay for a visit to Washington DC area.

The moment me and my wife arrived at the entrance of the Intercontinental ,I was met by a gentleman named Ridi who brought our bags in the hotel's reception area and our check in was done very promptly. We were there to celebrate with the family members the colorful 4th Birthday of a very smart and beautiful four year old girl .The charming and very friendly General Manager James Ryan was the added bonus of our stay in this wonderful hotel. He shared some of his unique contacts and experiences dealing with VVIPs in his previous work at the Willard Hotel and now at the Intercontinental. The receptionist named Ms.Nirimin (he spelling may be wrong) was very cordial and helpful. She helped keeping our bags when we joined our friends for luncheon. We were treated with warmth and extraordinary services by the Restaurant Staff during breakfast as well as during luncheon with precision and in a very timely manner making my wife very happy .The location is great with a number of outstanding restaurants nearby such as DelMar,La Vie and the like.We loved this place so much that we have decided to enroll in Ambassador category and bring our friends soon for Lebanese Cuisines.

Had the pleasure of staying and hosting family at this wonderful place. From the minutes we walked in. Mariam treated us with a big smile and check in was a breeze. Every time we came through lobby Mariam and General Manager Mr. Ryan greeted us by Name Offered to help if we needed any. Yes this is a very Luxurious place and very well appointed. It is the service that takes the crown Will we stay here again? Of course we will and only here if we are the Wharf Thank you Mariam and Mr.Ryan for your hospitality
