The Newburgh Hampton inn gets 5 stars all around. This is a huge Hampton inn. The check in was easy on the app and the rooms look new. It is very close to the interstate. The breakfast was also very delicious and good and they have a large dog relief area.

This is one of the larger Hampton Inns and it was excellet., They had the Hilton cleanstay mark and digital key, so I was able to check in and go to my room without any issues, all contactless. Because of COVID, I wiped to place down with white shop towels and it was squeaky clean, even behind the TV, the beds, and cabinets. They are doing a pretty good job. Beds were super comfortable. It's new, so of course, it was designed well (only think missing was a night light and a MICROWAVE, which I've come to expect from Hampton Inn) Minimal junk in the room. Enough hooks in the bathroom. Will definitely use this facility if in the area. Breakfast bag was a paper bag with water, can/box juice, a snack bar, and a muffin. A piece of fruit should be available for those not wanting only processed food.

We had a family gathering at Stewart AF Base and the hotel was an excellent Choice. The front staff along with the housekeeping staff were very accommodating. We had great room at the front of the hotel that gave us a nice view. It was sunny and in the forty’s Nice to have a complimentary us newspaper for your enjoyment. The breakfast had plenty of choices for all individuals. Being a Honors member is was nice to be able to pick out your room a head of time and also leaving using the Hilton app. Everything at the Hampton Inn was a five star. Will visit again in October of this year when we have another outing at the base. Very convenient.

Because of Memorial Day we’re doing, the rates DOUBLED. We got caught in rainstorm and only option off highway. Hilton rewards was 10 off and NO discount for military… on Memorial Day! Top it off they are the only Hilton I’ve ever stayed at that wouldn’t allow motorcycle parking under awning in poring rain. Not motorcycle friendly!!

Hampton Inn is usually my first choice when traveling, however I would not return to this location. The front desk staff seemed rather self absorbed and did not pay much attention to what was going on around them. During morning breakfasts, the breakfast area was jam packed, with very little seating room. What tables were available had not been cleaned. Food was running out as quickly as the attendant could make more. I don't blame the attendant. There was just one person trying to feed an entire hotel full of people. There should have been more people to help. In the absence of more people scheduled to help with breakfast, the front desk staff should have stepped in to help. They didn't. They just watched the chaos ensue. In the evenings, the hotel seemed to be overrun by kids without any parental supervision. Once again the front desk staff should have stepped in, but they didn't. The front desk staff seemed to not care about what was going on around them and in the hotel as long as they could sit comfortably behind their desk.
When we tried to use the pool on Saturday morning, we were told that we could only use half of the pool because the other half was being used for private swim lessons. Apparently the hotel rents out the pool to a 3rd party swim school. If I wanted to use a pool while swim lessons were going on, I'd go to the YMCA. Not only were the hotel guests crowded into half of the pool, but the pool deck was crowded with parents watching the swim lessons, and the deck was filthy from all of the traffic coming in and out of the pool from outside the hotel.

My family required 5 rooms over a number of days, and James, the manager, went out of his way to make sure we were all on the same floor as close to each other as possible and that my son's family with young children had adjoining rooms. Our reservations were complicated, but James took the time to figure it all out. Dolly at the desk was always smiling and making us feel welcome and taken care of. She helped our stay feel more personal than a typical hotel experience. We appreciated all of the staff from the housekeepers to the various people at the desk to the manager. We had one king suite where we often gathered and the microwave, sink and counter space, and extra big room served us well.

We were picked up from the airport and brought to the hotel by marked van, and returned to the airport at our conveyance (included). King size bed room was large with sofa and wet bar. Shower and commode was separate from sink and closet, so mirror was never steamed up. TV swiveled so could be watched from bed or sofa. Wet bar had a microwave and refrigerator with coffee maker. Room was made up everyday with fresh towels (included). Breakfast was different every day for the three days we were there, and always fresh coffee in the lobby. We to busy use the indoor pool or exercise room, but both were clean, and looked fresh. Very nice stay.

Where do I begin, so horrible we had a block of rooms for our daughters wedding & we had 4 books roomed for us alone along with guests who booked other rooms as well. We were all getting ready there had hair & makeup come as well as photographers & videographers . When we first went in to check in was me with unfriendly & nasty staff behind the desk. We had already asked if we could request late checkout from 11:00, only my daughter & her fiancé were given a bottle of water each since they were the bride & groom, nothing else to them as well as nothing else to us as parents of bride & her siblings who were in bridal party. There was no housekeeping. They kept calling us & practically kicked us out of our rooms which we overpaid way too much for. Employees were rude & nasty even when we tried to ask about later times. Employees also complaining to the limo drivers about all of us so unprofessional & would definitely recommend to stay there

As with most hotels, we are evolving in our operations and offerings to adjust to the current pandemic we are navigating. As part of the Hilton CleanStay program, housekeeping services are not provided daily throughout a guest's stay unless specifically requested. Signage of these updates can be found throughout the property, and is reiterated at check-in, but we apologize if this was not evident during your stay with us. Prior to your group's arrival, we provided all rooms under this wedding block a 12:30pm late checkout, along with two of the rooms being extended to a 2:00pm late checkout. Due to new deep sanitizing protocols and with our check-in time being at 3:00pm, we unfortunately could not extend check-out any further past 2:00pm. We thank you again for bringing your experience to our attention and hope to welcome you back again in the future when all of our amenities resume normal operations!

This Hampton Inn is very convenient to Newburgh/ Stewart Airport and the major highways(84&87). The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were immaculate. I was very pleased with my stay and I highly recommend this Hampton Inn for business and pleasure. While I was there, I saw several families staying there also.

Very clean, well maintained. So reliable under Hilton’s cleaning directions. Breakfast package was a bit smaller portion compared with other hotels that I experienced during Covid circumstances but not bad - all cold like a small packaged muffin, cereal bar, small can of juice and a bottle of water - but totally understandable. But other than that, so nearly handled. Well done.
