I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in a large group, and it served us well for its location, close to two of Budapest's main squares and metro stations, restaurants, etc, but the hostel itself wasn't really clean and confortable, the bathrooms weren't really clean and some doors didn't chut properly, and the wi-fi barely worked at my room. So if you're not staying for long and wants to stay really centrally this hostel is a good go.

We had originally booked this hostel for three nights but ended up only staying for two. The door handle to our room was hanging off and the door did not lock properly, furthermore the lockers did not lock and keys were given out at random with no ID needed to obtain one. We also noticed that one of our lockers was held together with staples! Anybody could walk into the hostel and into our dorm which made us feel very unsafe. Furthermore, the dorms were not particularly clean (and there was a hole in the wall) , the beds were itchy and incredibly creaky and uncomfortable and the bathrooms were filthy. The staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful and you had to walk past piles of rubbish bags to get into the hostel. The "kitchen" was absolutely tiny and consisted of one stove. The only positive about this place was that it is in a very central location. I have stayed in many hostels and this was by far the worst - I would never stay here again.

We stayed here recently with a large group of 26 people. The hostel was very accommodating and helped to keep us in rooms together and on the same floor if possible. The hostel is right in the city centre by the main shopping area, and within easy walking distance of the ruin bars and restaurant district. There is a small bar next door the hostel and it is very near a metro station if you want to travel further afield. There is a kitchen on most floors and a common room on one floor. In terms of dorm rooms you definitely knew you were in a hostel not a hotel - creaky uncomfortable bunk beds with lots of graffiti - but at least they were clean, and lots of rooms had a private fridge. There weren't many downsides - just dodgy wifi signal in some areas and poor security in one of the big dorm rooms (door that wouldn't lock and no keys for the lockers). In general I would definitely recommend this hostel for backpackers who are looking for a cheap but decent place to stay!

I stayed in this hostel for only one night and it wasn't quite a good experience. The shared bathrooms in the corridor weren't really clean - but I've seen worse -, the rooms were ok, the mattress of my bed was old and the wi-fi (even though thet had about 4 different connections) none of them were working.
For not much time is a good place to stay because of the price.
It is really well located, though, quite near to the center, main places, near the river...

Stayed here for 4 nights, the bathrooms and the bedrooms were all clean. The location was excellent, less than 5 minute walk to the river and surrounded by local restaurants and shops. However, on the website the hostel claims to offer an onsite laundry service, but this isn't the case. We had to wander hopelessly for 20 minutes to try and find the laundrette and then wait close by in a local restaurant till our laundry was done which restricted our plans for the day. Wifi is intermittent in the rooms

I don't think so..!! And it's not that difficult to get to the hostel by public transport even though u hae to change bus and metro once. But if you talk to the hostel they might arrange one for you. Happy traveling.
