Simple place that follows tradition and trends at the same time, always respecting the environment. Room are impeccably clean and could easily fit all the standard of 5 star hotel rooms (bed, bathroom, floor, windows, lock, temperature, ...). The breakfast offers more than most of the higher range hotels (all the choices for different dietary requirements), with mostly local grown food - eggs and home made strudel are "must try". Outside of the hotel there is a big garden with vegetables and beautiful garden with herbs where you can have a healing walk on the path made out of different stones. And there is also a nice mini golf between the herbal bushes. Garden is huge and offers a place to play for children as well. The owner is very kind and efficient. You leave the place renewed with a jar of homemade jam as a departure gift. Great hospitality! Definitely recommend!

Stayed here for the recent Champions League game. On arrival we were given 2 suite rooms and the first floor and the rooms where top class. Definitely 4*+ quality. The hotel has mini golf which we enjoyed but if you want to use the spa facilities there is an extra charge and you need to provide 24 hours notice. The city centre is about a 5 minute Taxi and costs €10 So in summary this hotel is great value and the rooms we stayed where much better than the 3 star rating. Staff very friendly and breakfast was ok for the 2 days we were there.

Every time I visit Maribor I would go for a lunch or dinner to Gostilna Lesnik. It's an old restaurant serving typical Slovene food with a modern twist. The food is always excellent. A very high quality with majority of fruits and vegetables from their own biological garden. The best price - quality is if one orders one of the many menu available (think they are at least 10). Keep in mind though that menues are available only till 4pm. Afterwards is a la carte. Still very much worth the money though.

The food and the service is excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. No issues with changing the dates of booking or with any sudden changes in general. The only downside was that there was no pool,as described in the details but only a jacuzzi that you can book beforehand. Another one was the Minigolf, which was not in a very good condition. All in all,it was a pleasant stay.

Super clean and nice rooms, very friendly staff and homemade delicious dishes in the restaurant. The location is perfect, you reach the city center in approx. 6 minutes by car, next to the hotel is a nice forest to take a walk and the highway is not far away.

It was only one night here, but under the other circumstances I would stay here longer. What was good - friendly and helpfull staff, tasty food at the restaurants and cosy, new room with all the necessities, It's a suburb of Maribor, far away from the highway. For those who are strangers it would be difficult to find its location. But many locals are celebrating holidays at Motel's restaurant. It's a sign of its high class.

Stopped on way to Amsterdam from Bosnia just for a night enroute long drive. Talk about charm! Such welcoming decor at all doors! Staff is excellent. We did not reserve and got the last room: "bridal suite" for 80 EU. Three flights up, but really lovely. Modern, yet traditional in the room. Clean, fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was included. Wifi, parking - they actually have a spa, mini- golf and more. Very family oriented, yet oddly casual formal at the same time. Breakfast was included and it was the best hotel breakfast I have ever seen as a " breakfast included" meal. Just spectacular in a lovely breakfast room. They have their own garden and make and sell traditional juices and jams. They also have an exquisite and popular restaurant that we are at. Very reasonable with exceptional food and service. I could have stayed there a couple of days. An unexpected, unplanned, not reserved treat!

Nice place. Comfortable room with shower and toiletries. Small but clean. The tv didn't work properly but we didn't care. Wa also didn't try other facilities (they have mini golf etc.). Breakfast is served at the dining room near the reception. We found out in the morning that the location is close to the highway and that was good for us.
