It is very nice property with nice rooms, absolutely gorgeous and spacious SPA/swimming pool/sauna area. Very sensible pricing in the restaurant and for the room minibar. Normally I avoid it, but it was so reasonable we ate a few times in the restaurant and used minibar. Shrimps with Zuchini were best shrimps I think I ever had. Unfortunately I experienced extremely high number of rather small issues showing inadequate management and procedures. 1. Receptionist tried to refuse upgrade I was entitled to. 2. Room desk very small, shaking. 3. Unstable cofffe table. 4. Glass protection at stairs with hand marks (during Covid!). 5. Spa reception not occupied, no signs to pool. 6. No signs outside jaccuzzi available, no signs to exit where you need card. People exiting directly from the pool, but you could not return without a card! 7. Chromecast on TV was not working. 8. Room with one bed, but made of two joined beds, uncomfortable. Two separate duvets provided. 9. Bathrobes available only in size L, one filthy. 10. Directed to the bf area even though I asked for a'la carte bf. BF room packed and long line for table. Staff insufficient, tables not cleaned. Confirmed with waitress if I could have a'la carte menu. When seated waiter said a'la carte bf avilable only in the restaurant, wasted 15 minutes. 11. In the restaurant we were sat at the table which was filthy. 12. Omelettes delivered with different ingredients we ordered. 13. No hooks in the bathroom for towels and bathrobes.…
I made a complaint directly to Radisson 50 days ago and despite receiving 3 emails saying we are sorry and we have contacted the concerned department I'm still waiting for a response. In fact this was the experience we had before our stay as you call and call and nobody answers the phone. I booked two rooms for my wife, mother-in-law and 5-month old son. Considering the price I paid and the fact this is a 5 star hotel we were very disappointed with our stay. The biggest issue was security. I find it incredible that a hotel like this had nobody on site. One evening there was a drunk man shouting. Another day there were about 6 teenagers skateboarding down the hotel steps for a long time making videos when we were walking back from the beach. Not a problem for me but a bit intimidating for my family. The final night I went for a quiet drink with my wife and there was a group of 6 drunk people at the bar. They were playing their own music on full volume and nobody did anything. Then one of them started to insult my wife for no reason. I complained at reception and the guests were eventually asked to leave but this wasn't until we were made to feel unsafe and uncomfortable by this group. When they went outside it just made things worse as they took their alcohol and music outside and started playing it loudly. This woke up my son in the room just above where they were congregated. One lady in the group started to swear at us from outside the window where we were sat and started wiping her bum against the glass where we were sat. This was all because she believed my wife had made the original complaint when in fact it was from other hotel guests. The reception called the police but it took a long time for them to come or anything to be done about it. I don't expect myself and my family to have a bad night's sleep at such a hotel. Where is the security? Another thing we weren't happy with was the house keeping. We left the sign outside the door yet still had to call the reception when we would come back to the room late afternoon and the room hadn't been cleaned. The toilet paper wasn't properly stocked for 2 days running and I had to call reception. I made a complaint at reception when we checked out specifically about the security issues but all we received was an apology. I expect more than just a sorry for this. At the very least when you stay at a 5 star hotel you expect to feel safe and comfortable.…
Ideal place to spend with kids as good swimming pool and Spa is best for adults. Ideal location for Beach and good surrounding shops. A must visit place if in Sopot .i wish all the best to all good staff specially BAR MAN Mr Lukash
Excellent hotel. Really in good shape, great maintenance. Rooms are in very good state and there have a very good size. We stayed in a room 2 adults and 2 kids and it was a perfect stay. Facilities are perfect: swimming pool great as well as lobby and bar. Food was very good, but service could be a little bit better. You can get beach chairs for the day. Parking quite expensive, but there is a parking in front where you can park for 1/3 of cost. Breakfast is quite expensive and walking distance you can find great alternatives much cheaper.
It is obvious that Radisson Blu will fight for guests with Marriott and bar was really high. Yet, they managed and they did it with class. Everything is great here - classy and elegant rooms, exceptional spa&wellness area (great relaxation area next to the sport size pool, great massages), amazing breakfasts. So far we were spending numerous occasions in Marriott but now we are really struggling to decide. Answering some critics - yes, some little details are missing but come on, these are just beginnings. Next stay already booked.
