Im here to recommend to all the Sehraton Hotel in Sopot! We ve booked it for 2 nights right after the lockdown release from 12-14 February. We very much admire a hard work of ALL Sheraton employees during this difficult time. The hotel is very well organised as per covid safety and on-time management. It must be very hard to serve all room service bfats and other orders but truly here at Sheraton it feels like there is no problem at all to handle this. It is our 5th stay at this hotel and we all just LOVE it! Location is outstanding! The rooms are amazing! THE SEA view is breatgtaking! Food is very good with broad selection! Room service menu is diversified and everyone finds somethin good....the herring amazing. :) Tkank you very much Sheraton for having us and making this stay a very safe and plesant. Special thanks to Ms. Kamila from front office, Ms. Sylwia and Ms. Marta from room service and Mr. Michal. Apologies for not metioning others... We are a group of 8 friends, and we 100% recommend Sheraton to all! Its also a special place for trip with kids which we have experienced last summer for 7 days....greay beach place and food at the beach. Thank You !!!! We will surely visit this hotel again!!!!

This hotel is the best luxury hotel in this entire 3 cities region of Poland with it's superb location, right on the famous Sopot beach and molo promenade . I was impressed to see all the efforts they are doing to assure the safety of the guests. All Rooms and towels are sanitized and desinfected and are kept super Clean . All staff and guests are wearing masks and gloves and everywhere are machines for hand Sanitizing with anti-virus gel . As all restaurants are still Closed by the government , we were glad to order delicious food from room-service. It was beautiful Presented and very tasty. Same as the amazing breakfast served to my room . I ordered it for 8 am and it came exactly on time and in a perfect way. A wonderful start of the day . I was glad that the spa is just opened so i took the opportunity to have a massage and a fitness workout . All the staff are speaking English with warm smiles and are very helpful . Service was excellent in every level .Check- in and check-out were the fastef i had by the excellent front desk managerJakub Kuligowski who assigned me a beautiful room facing the Baltic sea. I was Priviledged to meet in person the famous GM of the hotel Mr Artur🙏Zawadzcki . He was in the loby welcoming and caring about every guest .It was very impressive indeed .He is a superb experienced Hotelier. Visiting this part of Poland for many years, I was staying in all top hotels in this region so i can say that the Sheraton has now the best quality and ambiance and offering a wonderful and safe experience. Keep doing the good job guys. I will be back .

We could tell they were taking COVID prevention seriously. All of the staff were wearing masks and disinfectant was EVERYWHERE. Guests who came to the breakfast buffet without masks were given single use masks to use. Guests were mostly adhering to the 2 people per elevator restrictions. Overall, the best hotel I’ve seen yet with COVID prevention. We really like this hotel and have stayed here before. The service is always friendly and the location is ideal. We spent a day on the beach at their beach club and it was wonderful. Can’t wait to return again. Thanks for a great beach getaway.

We booked a City Break of 3 days in Gdansk and visited Sopot on the train on the 2nd day for a couple of hours. Took a walk along the renowned Pier and seen the Sheraton from there. On walking around the town, we loved it and decided after 3 nights in the lovely Gdansk, we cancelled our flight home and booked 3 nights at the Sheraton (booked a hotel airport for last night as had a 4.30am wake up for flight). On arrival it was obvious why this was rated 5 stars! Reception area was immaculate in every sense, sanitising stations everywhere and staff all wearing masks. We arrived early and due to the hotel being at capacity, there were no rooms available - totally understandable. Left our luggage in the hotel and went for a walk until the allocated check in time, which was seamless. The room was very big, on the 4th floor (room 418), with partial sea view (which was lovely!), rooms were very spacious with everything you need (hairdryers still available unlike some chains have taken them out during Covid). Beds and pillows soooo comfortable and blackout curtains that do as they should :-). Bathroom big and excellent quality of everything. Social distancing was adhered to, the 2nd morning we couldn't get in the main restaurant for breakfast so were taken to the Club Lounge, it didn't have as many options as Main restaurant but preferred this option to being sat close to people. We didn't have Dinner in the hotel but did have a couple of drinks in the hotel bar, staff were very polite and advised us on wines when our favourite was not available. The Private Beach area is lovely, again social distancing was adhered to here, the guys giving out the towels (sorry I didnt get their names) were very good in making sure it was retained. The bar on the private beach was way less expensive to other places we have been (champagne was around £65 which I think is very reasonable at a hotel of this standard, beers were around £4.50 a pint, cocktails £7. We were always at the beach for around 9am and getting a sunlounger was never a problem, it did get busy later in the day. The only downside to the beach was the toilets, having to pay 3PLN wasnt an issue, it was the quality of them, they didn't smell pleasant, didn't look clean and always had water of some sorts all over the floor, they are portacabin type. We chose to walk back to the hotel when we needed to use the toilet. The beach itself is lovely though, as is the sea. All in all, we were astounded at how beautiful Poland was and the Sheraton made it that bit more special. We are telling everyone they must visit and we for sure will be back. Thank you all at the hotel for making our stay so special

Worst 3-night stay of my life ! That the 5-starred Sheraton doesn’t tell you that the Baltic Sea is not accessible in summer (for several years now) due to bacteria, or that the public beach is littered with cigarette butts, we understand ! But several things under their responsibility, the Sheraton should tell their guests. Let me explain. Granted when booking online, there is some minor mentioning of the dog & kid friendly policy. But only once settled in the room will you be reminded of the full extend of this policy, with running kids in the hallways and barking dogs at all hours of the day (and night). Also, know that under the guise of eco-friendly company policy, the clerk at the check-in casually mentions that you will need to ask if you want to have your room cleaned. Now, although we fully support any efforts to better the environment, it does mean that after a few days of forgetting to ask, the room has become a battle field and your 5-star feel is gone. More than “environmental”, this is just cost saving at the expense of the customer. Try the swimming pool when you can’t go into the sea, and you will find a tiny underground pool reminiscent of a Soviet era public bath. A minimum of 50% of the people in the pool are below the age 3 and wear diapers. (So much for the bacteria scare). Welcome to the “all ages” kid friendly inside swimming pool at the Sheraton !! When you check in, no one explains where the Sheraton Beach Resort is located. And for good reason. There is no direct access the “Beach Resort”, as it isn’t in front of the hotel. Walk to the left & to the other side of the the main pedestrian walkway along the beach, and you will find a path towards the beach. Go past the ice cream parlor, and slug through the coffee drinkers at the Starbucks, there you will find your “ticket officer” asking for your room number and handing you a towel. Grab a stretcher and a cold drink & enjoy the view on the Baltic Sea - if you can see it !! You see, the “Beach Resort” is packed with Sheraton guests on top of one another. And even if it weren’t, the “Resort” is squeezed in between the boardwalk and the overcrowded cigarette butt infested public beach. Nothing to see but human masses. The dog-friendly employee at the check-in kindly gave us one of those rooms that have the kid-friendly inner double doors. Nice for large families, but not so nice for sound proofing. And why Sheraton wanted us to stay next to a bunch of dog owners, is still a mystery to us. Sheraton charges extra for dogs, but doesn’t care that the policy comes at the expense of the other holiday goers. Thanks to the screaming kids, 2 barking dogs (a tag team actually, 1 for day & 1 for night), and the next door drunken dog-owner, we called the reception 3 times. Although we twice requested a change of room (“please; 1 without the doors”), the Sheraton reception never called back, nor did they try to solve any of the issues. Sheraton ? NEVER AGAIN ANYWHERE !

Dear Jambroker, Thank you for taking your valuable time to write about your experience, I am truly sad reading we have not managed to fulfill your expectations. I also sense from your review, that reserving your holiday stay in Sopot and in our hotel for past days, most likely you have expected to spend the time in a much quieter and calmer destination than in fact Sopot resort city is those days, same as our hotel is in the pick of the summer holiday season in this very popular vacation destination. I feel also obliged to explain another important point in your comments, - intervals of guest room servicing; although we do inform about it at c/in and we do display short written reminder for our guests about it in each guest room, according to Polish Sanitary requirements introduced with Covid-19 pandemic which we are obliged to follow for our guests and associates safety, hotel guest room can be serviced only upon guest request to possibly limit guest / associate interactions. Understanding that this sanitary requirement may be a trouble to our leisure guests staying with us for longer stays, we do offer that should we not receive guest request for the room cleaning up till third day of the guest stay, we will enter the room to perform the housekeeping service to assure clean and comfortable stay of our guests in the hotel. Therefore it is not a saving or even an environmental issue, but just following local sanitary rules issued for the hotels in our country by Polish Main Sanitary Inspector – basing on those rules , which our hotel is fulfilling in all aspects of its operations to assure sanitary safety, hotels in Poland are allowed to operate in Covid-19 pandemic times. I am sorry should above information missed your attention and causing your expectations have not being meet. Reading your review I feel the best recommendation I can give is to invite you to visit us again outside of the summer season when the beaches, city streets and our hotel are just much less busy. Outside of season is also the time with no risk of sea algae problem which in hottest summer days may from time to time limit possibility of entering Baltic sea and may change any time, even from one day to another. Also, this would be my recommended time to enjoy real beauty of our unique location right next to the beach and opposite of the famous Sopot Pier – the longest pier on the Baltic sea. Only one note, Sheraton hotel private beach – which is cleaned and attended every day by our service staff will not be available after the summer season, however then public beach is already cleaner and much more friendly after season, therefore offering dedicated private beach for the hotel guests as offered now is not needed. That will surely also be the time, we will be able to assure greater flexibility with your nice room assignment, since during your past stay all our guest rooms have been successfully sold and due to this fact, we were unable to avoid neighborhood rooms to be occupied. Here I am also sorry for having the room reserved for you with interconnecting door and for your loud neighbors with the dog. I do believe that visiting us on quitter time here in Sopot, would simply give us much more opportunities to make your expectations exceeded and write only positive review about us on Tripadvisor.
