First of all, the hotel looks weird externally but an interior design compensates that. Pros: a seaside proximity, a vast and nice double room decorated in an old style, a water pool that you can use all day long while raining outside.Cons: strange smell from a toilet throughout the 3 days stay, an ugly balcony view, no fridge, a payable unsecured car park 20 zl a night at the hotel premises, overpriced, one bowling lane within the restaurant that puts you and others in an inconvenient situation.To sum up, you should be offered more for the high price.

A lot to say here as we stayed for almost a week. Location close to lovely beach and they provide deck chairs. Rooms weird - apparently their luxurious rooms are lovely but the standard ones are of poor quality despite being quite pricey. Configuration was weird and we had to move stuff around to turn our two single beds into a double. Room stuck in time - calendar from 2011 on the wall, bathroom probably from 1990s horrible tiles, cheap finish with plastic shelves which broke once we put something on, bathroom door did not close. Room cleaners are saving on everything - we had toilet paper missing, duvey hasn't been changed once throughout 6 nights, towels were finally changed after we threw them outside. Otherwise, they just kept placing them back on a hanger. On a positive note - their restaurant was stunning. Breakfast was a real feast of anything you could imagine - hot stuff, cold platter, cakes, waffers, salads, etc. Never had such a lovely breakfast. Superb. We had some a la carte meals and they were simply amazing - becon and mushroom pene and local Karkowka were lush. Dessert cake was made from the scratch while we were waiting. You need to wait a bit for your meal but it arrives freshly made for you and not reheated. Despite being close to lovely beach and walking distance (30mins walk on the beach) to nearby Sopot, the hotel is far from anything else - 45mins walk to local train (Oliwa). 30mins walk to trams and then a further 40mins tram ride to Gdansk centre. If I were to go to Baltic coast again, I'd book something in Sopot, which has the same lovely beach but has better connections to Gdansk and also offers everything you may need in a town (shops, exchange points, cinemas, etc). Overall good but not enough to justify the price they ask for. I'd recommend their restaurant though - would happily eat there again.…

I spent a week here at a literature conference. The location is very good: only minutes from a beach. It is also close to a bus stop, with regular buses to central Gdansk and the terrific resort of Sopot (only about 10 minutes by bus). The rooms are different to most hotels: a bedroom, plus a separate and quite spacious dressing room and a separate shower/washroom/toilet. It's like having a mini-apartment, which I liked. The decor is quirky and at times just too kitsch: they should improve on this at some point. I used the small indoor pool, and it was always beautifully warm and in the pool area there is also a jacuzzi. The staff were wonderful: always friendly, smiling and helpful.

The way I have been treated is unbelievable. 1. I booked a room via one of external sites, about two weeks before the arrival. 2. Two days prior to arrival (holiday season) I was called by a nice lady from reception claiming they had to cancel my booking due to some technical issues. I have been informed they will call me back soon again, of course NEVER happened. 3. what is interesting other people were able to book the rooms in that time.. 4. I have been informed my credit card has already been charged and they can transfer the money back in a week, maybe... 5. After about an hour I was called by one of the external service consultant, who wanted to ask why I have cancelled the booking (this was the information they have received from the hotel) 6. After a few hours, and my claim, the hotel finally came with the proposal - they could send me to another hotel. Nice, the problem, lower standard and almost 90EUR! cheaper. They just wanted to put me there without any refund. No one thought about the difference in price till I have asked for. I cannot judge the facilities because I have never been there. Maybe they are nice. But I am sure I will never want to check...…

the location is perfect if u have car, or rent a bike, coz Sopot center is 3km away. but to walk to beach is few hundred metres. the breakfast was great - plenty of choises. we took lowest room with twin beds on first ground, because double room was more spacious, but too hot to be in - no normal air conditioning, and the view to roof... it has free children playing room, also pool and jakuzi
