Due to COVID and the changing rules we had to quickly change our trip dates and the hotel was easy to make the changes necessary to take us at the last minute without penalty. We arrived very late after 24 hours of travel and without our luggage, to be warmly welcomed by Gian Marco, who couldn't have been more helpful. In the morning I was welcomed by Katrina the restaurant manager who helped me find the nearest department store to shop for some clothing. And Jakub, the guy who speaks perfect American :) was always so quick and helpful getting us ice and wine at all hours of the day and night. The only disappointing thing was the Spa was not fully staffed and so it was difficult to get appointments at times that were convenient for us. But understandable with COVID protocols and whatnot. Cannot wait to be back in Prague and stay here again.

Beautiful hotel that pays attention to all of the details. Easy check in, they showed us to our room and explained where everything was. They room included power converters (so helpful) water bottles, etc. All of the staff was so kind and were great with English! We also loved getting cocktails at the bar and the breakfast buffet was wonderful.

The Mandarin Oriental Prague, which is inside a former monastery complex, could be located neither more conveniently nor more beautifully. The historic city parts on the river's west side and by the foot of the majestic Prague Castle make an excellent starting point to explore the city. The proximity to the Charles Bridge and all other major attractions on the one hand, and the serene nature of its small alleys on the other, are just exquisite. While in 2020, when we first stayed at the property, we had some issues with other aspects, none of our wishes remained open this time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, very professional and got every wish and request just right. Our room was spacious, had access to the hotel's lovely (former monastery) courtyard, and, as the entire premise, boasted a level of cleanliness that can hardly be found among global competitors even though the rooms are not exactly new. The housekeeping does a fantastic job! Most impressively, this can be witnessed in the bathroom, which spoils with a nice bath tub, a functional rain shower and amenities of high quality. Furthermore, the bed was very comfortable and the carpet spotless. For the breakfast, which was delivered to our room on a complimentary base, we can recommend the really delicious omelette, but were disappointed at the quality of bread, which could clearly be improved. In general, breakfast regulations are quite complicated with certain dishes (such as Eggs Benedict and desserts) designated as costly supplements. Upon request, this was immediately changed for us, but it would be nice if these complications were removed in the future. We ordered in-room dining twice and were convinced by it on both nights. Especially, the Chicken Tikka Masala was great! After all, we were really intrigued by the standard of the place and will be back for sure!

Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent and thoughtful staff across all areas. Small touches like a welcome note and a bookmark left on my book on the bedside table are often the things that make a stay memorable. We were delighted to get an unexpected inclusion of breakfast. The room was beautiful and tranquil, overlooking the garden. Only minor observation was that we could find very few English-speaking TV channels but it didn’t really matter as Prague has so much to explore that we didn’t have much time for TV! Fantastic location.
