So peaceful and serene, for us over 40 folks, yet close enough to all of the action in Red Hook for the teens/young adults! (Our last stay at this resort was back in March of 2011). Having stayed at the Sapphire Village condos, a house...More
Very nice getaway! Apartment was a little dated but well worth the upgrade to be on the beach. Restaurant was very good and convient! Beach was lovely! We were there 2 years ago so not sure how it is now!!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were treated fantastic and then some. Maybe it was because we were getting married there and had a ton of family and friends scattered around the resort as well, but they too still speak...More
We were on St Thomas before, during, and after Hurricane Irma, so this is really a two-part review. We were very happy with our choice to stay at Secret Harbour. The condos were very nice, and it was convenient to have full kitchens and the...More
We were in Secret Harbour from 9/2/17 and were to check out on 9/11/17. We were unable to leave due to the hurricane. The hotel was fairly full, including 2 wedding parties. I would like to commend Kevin and Javier as well as the rest...More

Didn't stay in that room but Tom A. seems to have hit the nail on the head with most of his comments. We were on the top floor and I would only do that again too however people with ground floor rooms can walk right out from their patios if you get up early and snatch a good spot on the beach by putting towels out on the chairs. Beach is fair in size but that's all relative to other places. You should get some chairs and an umbrella set-up early. St. Thomas has a rule where no beach is private (I believe) so people from cruise ships can come on to the beach there. That only happened a little when we were there in March.
Restaurant is top notch. Beach bar is okay, service is so-so. Views are fantastic. Taxis are a must if you have to go anywhere. Overall, a very nice place, quiet, peaceful and in the case of our room very well-appointed. Regret not going to Magen's Bay.
DO NOT walk to Red Hook. Too dangerous with the sight lines and winding roads.
There are lots of restaurants close but I would recommend taxis or renting a car. The roads are steep and narrow and I would not have been comfortable walking far especially after dark. We rented a car and it was great!

"We loved our condo - Rm. 226 (in bldg. 2, 1 floor up (6 steps) from beach level)."
