The whole family had a great time basing our visit to Sabang here. The breakfast is included with the rooms, and unknown to most is that the kitchen will fix lunch or dinner for you for a low charge if you buy and bring the ingredients. We had local market crab, fish, squid, vegetables, fruit, etc every day. The underground river, zip line, and Panaguman Resort are just a short distance away. The boar many reviews mentioned is unfortunately gone.

Room Tip: The aircon rooms were only airconditioned for a while, but I understand that will soon be changed.

There are very few lodging options in beautiful Sabang, and Dabdab is probably he nicest in the budget range. Our bungalow, in a nice garden with lots of shade was large and cozy, with partial sea views and a large terrace. Intermittent slow wifi.

This place is basic, but you expect this given the location and price and they are upfront about no hot water/ electricity timing and wifi. Basic room but served a good purpose for us and in a good location just tucked out the way. Breakfast was again basic but nice enough - eggs and toast + coffee. Staff are really lovely and can't do enough for you I thought. They booked our river tour which was great as we beat all the day trippers & our van to Port Barton. My only criticism really is that there is a wild pig/ boar that roams the garden & we left quite a lot of stuff out there drying in the day, luckily I saw it come over and attempt to eat everything and manage to salvage everything apart from 2 straw hats we had and it absolutely sabotaged them and ate them. Not a big deal at all but they should warn you not to leave things out there because the pig goes for it.

Now called DabDab Tourist Inn We booked into air conditioning room of which there are 4 plenty of places to store things .Electric from 5.30- 5.00am but air con only works 10pm- 5am .This was a little bothersome as the rooms get quite sticky early evening . The showers are cold only as with most places . Room was very clean . The restaurant only open for breakfast and has coffee to purchase which means you must go out to town when you need a drink or snacks. There is of course chickens , cockrel, dogs , cats but the biggest shock was the wild boar who seems to think its a dog . Funny enough to watch running around until it wants something you have then not so funny . The girl in reception seems to be able to control it but its still a little scarey. The location is set between Sabang waterfall and the pier so its easy to get to either. They will organise your visit to the underground river.

The resort has a very good location and the staff is friendly and the breakfast was good. This is all the pro-es about the hotel. All the rest is contra-s. Our cabana (actually - a hat) was absolutely ruined, so that the only working element was a mirror in the bath. No hot (not even warm) water. The water from the shower seems to run directly under the hat, the same probably happens with the toilet flush. Electricity runs as promised, from 6pm to 5am but it does not seem to heat the water. Anyway, as the reception girls are extremely friendly and willing to help, this place may be a good option for 1) adventurers backpackers or 2) those that are willing to know how the locals live or 3) adrenaline seekers. ,
