Martin's Haven was blissful and serene paradise on earth!

The whole environment is more natural and different from what we've experienced before. The Waterfall, seeing baboons across the river, the sound of the flowing river, birds, lots of green grass, Ostrich ... all these combos makes it a place you will want to stay when you ever think of a guest lodge in Mpumalanga.

The fact that it's central to most of the places you'll want to visit for sight seeing is extremely awesome. The kids on site are super friendly, well-mannered and cultured.

Petru was of great service when we had to change rooms for one of our family friends at a very low cost. Thank you!

The food is amazing, the rooms were clean, and the morning hike around the river, waterfalls was wonderful!

Petru, Savaace, and Juan ... you guys rocked! Please keep up the good work!

We will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place full of nature.

We had a wonderful stay at Martin's Haven Guesthouse. I would highly recommend Martin's as a place of beauty, relaxation and excellent accommodation. Helen is an excellent host who ensures that all your needs are met and she ensures that you have a wonderful stay. The guest house is perfectly situated to go to the Sudwala Caves, Sabie, God's window etc. The guesthouse rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable with a lovely breakfast served each morning. Beautiful bird life. This place makes you feel relaxed as ever!

My wife and I spent a few days as part of our birthday celebrations. The en-suite room was very clean, spacious and very well maintained. Helen was an excellent host and spared us a lot of time to chat with us, cook for us, and even took us out for a morning walk to the river and waterfall. Tranquility at its best, the location has various animals including Horses, Ostriches, Peacocks, Chickens, Rabbits, Ducks, and Baboons. The view is out of this world. The food was amazing and was one of the main reasons we felt at home. My wife and I had such a wonderful time, it was a bittersweet moment leaving - happy to be going back home but very sad going away from such a beautiful and amazing Lodge. Highly highly recommended and will definitely visit again. Thank you very much to Helen and her team for one of the best holiday experiences ever!

Beautiful people, surroundings and hospitality all in one place. No request too big or too small. Lots to do in and around. If you're looking to find yourself or looking for peace and tranquility, Martin's Haven is a must. Delightful venue for children - lovely gardens, pool, kids play area and animal farm. God lives here.
