We had a lovely stay at Rearsby for a friend's wedding at Hartford house. The location was perfect as it is a 1-minute drive from Hartford house.
Breakfast was amazing!
The service was amazing!

Our room was lovely, maybe just one or two small details that could be sharpened up - such as a bin in the room by the self-catering table, once the room has been serviced in the morning for the floors to be swept as well. The setting is so beautiful so a blanket or two provided in the room to sit outside on the grass would have been amazing. Nothing that will turn you away though from this lovely accommodation. Staff were incredible and so helpful!!

We thought Rearsby Farm to be an excellent B&B, and have recommended and will recommend it to friends and family. The room was comfortable and tastefully furnished with a spacious and well-appointed bathroom. The breakfast was excellent although I'm not a fan of the flavoured coffee that was provided!

We spent a weekend together with our two furry family members at Rearsby and can only recommend this accommodation. Bongani, the manager, is delightful and really helpful, the breakfast was good and Bushman cottage in which we stayed is well appointed and really safe for the furries as it has a lovely enclosed garden. We would most certainly go back to stay there, as it is a relaxing and perfect venue for exploring the midlands. Excellent covid procedures and sanitising stations that were not unpleasantly imposing too!

Very tranquil and relaxing stay. The host was very professional and made us most welcome. Accommodation was excellent. Tasteful and clean. The sunset from our room was amazing. Recommended for a quite getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Such great accommodation. Had the pet friendly room (should I say little cottage) and my dog just loved the open spaces and freedom. Was so quiet and peaceful. Adele was very accommodating and friendly. Room was cleaned daily, towels and linen changed every 3 days. Breakfast was great (had to yell them to reduce the spread I couldn't eat it all). Location was great within less than 30 mins drive you in Nottingham Road. Can definitely recommend

The accomodation is pleasant - enjoyed having electric blankets, however I would recommend a gas heater as during loadshedding the room was extremely cold...even though there was a fire place.
We stayed in the Bushman's cottage with our two doggies and the door to the garden was problematic so that should be seen to.
Breakfast was delicious.
Location okay.
Chalets have a wall that borders on the neighbours and on our second day a couple with two children (boys) booked in....they disturbed the peace by throwing stones at our front door and knocking on it and running away, this in turn irritated our dogs.
So all in all some good and some not so good.

What a lovely place in the Midlands. Mooi River is very disappointing but a few kilometers out and you enter a beautiful scenic area. We really enjoyed the views, peace and quiet and especially the wonderful host Bongani. He was very helpful and looked after us and our friends. Thank you Bongani.
Take note - by 4.30pm in Mooi River, there was no where open to eat but thankfully we got the rooms with a braai facility. It may be just on going Covid restrictions but just be aware.

The owner went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was beautifully decorated, cozy and and clean. The property was beautiful, especially the big tree in the garden with the swings, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you Adel!

Impressed with the cottage I stayed in. Comfortable bed and crisp linen!! Fully equipped kitchenette. Heated bathroom - lovely in the crisp early mornings. Functioning fireplace with loads of wood available. Views of the mountains and farmlands. Beautiful old Oak trees surround the property. Host Bongani is a treasure! Thank you, Bongani, for looking after us so well.

What lovely time! Beautiful area and views are spectacular! The rooms so cozy with the fireplaces... misty conditions. Kitchens were well equipped! Very clean! Very good and effective communicating beforehand, willing to go the extra mile.
