This was my second visit to Eleuthera & the amazing Pineapple Fields Resort......it felt like 'coming home'! Everything was as lovely as I remembered... from the welcoming staff to the beautifully equipped condo which was so attractively decorated & comfortable. It is so nice to...More
We stayed at Pineapple Fields for 5 days. It was our first trip to Eleuthera and we loved it. Pineapple Fields has really nice "apartments" around a pool and across from the Atlantic and the very fun Tippy's restaurant. We loved being near Governor's Harbour....More

What a wonderful place to stay...especially for first timers to Eleuthera. Across the street the gorgeous beach, miles and miles of quiet beauty. Also, the famousTippys, is across the street as well. Good eats, especially their shrimp coconut and the chicken wrap. Pizzas are really...More

Tippys is the only restaurant that would be close enough to walk to with 3 kids. There is a small deli that's probably a half mile from there that could be walkable as well. Buccaneers is at the bottom of the hill, they are good too but too far to walk. I would Recomened renting a car so you have your own freedom of roaming around. Go to French leave hotel they have a good restaurant and so does a place called "pascales" that is a little north of there, they always have bands playing it's a good time for the kids if that's going on.
- the French leave rents kayaks and paddle boards and I think pascales does as well but you'd have to check. Tippys might but I'm not sure
-just check out all the beaches, I'll have to ask my mom (she lives there)but there is a big lake north of governors that has a bunch of sea horses in it that the kids can see, it's pretty wild if you've never seen them before... and go to coco de momma beach the water is about shin deep for about 100 years off the beach the kids will love it
- Eleuthera is great but if you have kids it's kind of tough to get around if you don't have a car. And too big to rent a golf cart. We are going to green turtle cay this summer it's small island and everyone gets around on golf carts, it's a little easier with the kiddos
