The Range is so beautiful and the camping place we had was very nice. Next to the camper we had our own toilet/bath room that we could also lock.
The area is gorgeous, very big and home to lots of animals: we even saw a rhino on our way from the camping area to the main house (for dinner)!! Unbelievable!
The horse back Safari was a great experience and the dinner was so delicious!!
We are truly happy with our choice, thank you for the great stay 😊

From the moment we walked into this lodge the employees felt like family. The lodge has the warmest vibriant vibe, with a real African feeling. The interior decorating is magnificent. The bar and pool area are picture perfect. The chalets on the dunes are so absolutely stunning and very clean. The bath has a window that can open with a view. Dinner was exceptional.Normally shops inside a lodge are extremely expensive. This shop was well priced with perfect gifts to take back home.
We had sundowners on the balcony looking at the Rhinos having a mud bath at the waterhole about 50 meters in front of us. The Cheetah feeding is an experience I will always remember. Ghoran the “cheetah whisperer” who deals with the cheetahs, treats these animals as his own children. What an unbelievable individual. His love for these magnificent animals immediately strikes one when you see his interaction with the Cheetahs. Bagatelle is highly recommended. An absolute must do when in Namibia.
Thanks Archie( manager), Imanuella(reception), Markus( bar), David( driver of dune buggy), Philix( guide), the lady at dinner an the very friendly General at the main gate. Will never forget this unbelievable stay and service!

After a long day's travel it is comforting checking into a lodge with extremely helpful, friendly, happy staff. The facilities are well maintained and every amenity you desire is at hand - the rooms are air-conditioned, the food is tasty and well prepared. What impressed me the most is the almost jovial attitude of all who work there. Happy staff create a happy experience for their guests

Because it was the 1 year anniversary of my wife and I, I booked the honeymoon room due to its jacuzzi and bubble bath facilities (as advertised). When we arrived there, neither was working. We requested to be shifted to another room, nothing came from it. When we went on the cheetah drive, it was very cold the afternoon/evening, no blankets were offered to us. During the 2nd night of our stay, both my wife and I became sick due to something we ate during dinner, and we had the same food. We had a very bad experience, and will not return to Bagatelle, nor recommend the establishment to anyone. Wish I spend the money on somewhere else :(:(:(. Only good service we got was from Felix and the lady who served our breakfast and dinner. I gave them both tips for the good service.

We have been on the campsite, this was fine. We had our own shower and toilet facilities, but no proper shelter for the hot sun and the heavy rain. at one night with heavy Thundershowers we got a room in the lodge free of charge.
We were allowed to use the facilities in the lodge the whole time.
The outings (horsebackriding, san-tour and night drive) were fine and reasonable.

It's a perfect stop between Windhoek and Fish River Canyon. The view of the Kalahari desert is something different from the rest of Namibia and shouldn't be missed.

We stayed in Savannah Chalet, which was quite spacious but a bit dated. I think Dune Chalets are much better and should have booked that instead. At the property, we also clicked selfies with ostriches. Meerkats do visit in mornings but we missed it.

We did a sunrise drive as we missed sunset one, it was fun driving through stunning views and saw usual animals. After the safari, we got to click photos with their orphan cheetas and stroke them. It was a fun morning.

The most disappointing about this lodge was their food. This was the only lodge in our 16 days in Namibia which didn't take efforts to cook veg food despite pre informing them. All we got was a bland and tasteless bean soup and sides of the meats - polenta and cauliflower.

Service like everywhere in Namibia was friendly.

Fortunately we only stayed one night at this ranch. Our accommodation was quite basic and looked really tired with scratched and dented wallpaper and large cracks in the bathroom wall.

Dinner had been set up outside with a fire pit and lanterns lit so very atmospheric but unfortunately the meal didn't live up to expectations. We waited a very long time to place our order, watching other diners receive their starters and mains whilst we still sat waiting. Eventually we placed out order for starters and mains and the starters arrived. Things didn't get better as two hours after we sat down we finally got our main course of game and vegetables. We hadn't been asked how we wanted the game cooked, which was unusual compared to other lodges we stayed at, so it was rare, something my husband struggled with. The vegetables were stone cold and so neither of us ate them. Nobody came to see if the meal was ok and when the plates were collected nobody seemed bothered by the fact most of the meal was still on the plate. After another wait watching other diners leave, we were asked for our dessert order and were then informed that they had run out of ALL desserts. Which hotel doesn't prepare enough desserts for all their guests? No apologies, no suggestion of a substitute, nothing. Good job we had brought some fruit with us as we were both still hungry.
We had booked a game drive which was ok but not much in the way of wildlife. However, the Cheetah feeding was amazing and the care given to these animals was second to none, which showed in the way they interacted with the staff, their body condition and coats. The talk given by the staff was very informative and this experience was the highlight of our stay.
This was our fourth trip to Africa and the most disappointing place we had stayed.

This was our second visit to Bagatelle. Absolutely a heaven on earth experience. Most friendly staff at this lodge. Thanks to David, Olavi, Felix and Eunice. Bagatelle serve excellent dinners in an open boma. Such a cozy romantic atmosphere. Loni our waitress at dinner stole our hearts in everyway possible
What an awesome young lady.

One aspect that surprised me is how affordable their boutique shop was. Normally African crafts are exuberantly expensive, but not at Bagatelle.

They also have an excellent spa and the massages were very professional.
At Bagatelle there are many activities. Lots of different bush drives, horse riding and the famous cheetah feeding drive.
The chalets are situated in the red dunes and with our first visit saw the rhinos from our verandah.
The chalets are large with good quality linen and comfortable beds.
We will most certainly visit again. Huge thank you to the two managers on board that immediately gave medical attention with such great care, when I fell and had horrible cuts on my vingers.

On my six week roadtrip through Namibia and South-Africa I first stayed at Bagatelle to bridge the distance from Windhoek to the Kgalagadi. I was travelling with a 4WD with a roof-top-tent. Stayed at the campsite which has beautiful private ablution blocks. The campsite is quite a distance from the lodge, but mostly someone will give you a ride to your destination. There is a lot to do on the site. Different drives and cheetah feedings, walks in the red Kalahari dunes. Staff is friendly and probably well trained. It is not the cheapest solution in the Kalahari, n but you get value for money. In a later stage of my trip I returned to Bagatelle and had a good time there again.

The room on the dune is perfectly decorated with a great view.
The staff is perfect, dinner was excellent.
The cheetah feeding really worth it, and if you are lucky some local animals (kudu) might even say hi during your tea time !
Massage are also available at this place.
We definitely recommend to visit this place.

The swimming pool is small. The Bushman walk was nice but it is staged. Still, it felt authentic enough. This activity cost extra and additional tips are also expected. Oryx and knu wander around and near the grounds. There is horseback riding which appeared to be very nice (cost extra). The landscape where the horses ride is very colorful (reddish sand dunes filled with vegetation). We didn't take a game drive, but this is not the part of Namibia with lots of wild game like Etosha. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The owner is very friendly too. There are two types of accommodation: dune chalets (more upscale) and regular chalets. The dune chalets are set up on a sand dune ridge with great views. The regular chalets cost less, are not as upscale, and lack any real view. My suggestion is that this is the place to splurge a little.
