Lovely place and lovely management. Room was large with a view overlooking the rolling Tuscan Hills. Didn't have breakfast there so can't speak for that. If you have problems with stairs, get a room on a lower floor. Loved the place. Would go back in a heartbeat.
We stayed for 5 nights over Easter. What a perfect place. Comfortable rooms, very very clean, a super breakfast of croissants, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurts and fresh cakes. Good coffee. The owner is super obliging and very friendly. Super location in the village next to a restaurant and in the middle of Tuscany so that if you have a car everywhere is accessible. Quiet and uncomplicated stay. Can only recommend it highly. Also super value for what you get.
La Locanda is a lovely B&B in the tiny and beautiful village of Montisi. I stayed there for two nights before moving to the nearby Villa Maddalena for a group event. My room was simple and comfortable, with plenty of hot water and generous towels. Breakfast was more than ample and delicious (excellent coffee!). Caterina is a wonderful host! Do not miss the wonderful restaurant, Ritorna di Fiamma, just next door!
Situated right in the middle of the tiny town of montissi is oerfect place to stay, a simple house with only 6 or 7 rooms is comfortable for 2 with a tiny but confortable bathroom, the shower was powerful but small and the door doenst closes well. Breakfast included was simple but nice and served with love by the owner and staff. The church bells ring all day and night in Montissi so if you wake up easily this could be an issue. The location is at the central place of town so noice on the streets can be heard. Hope to come back soon.
I stayed at La Locanda for one week, and found it very comfortable. Caterina, the owner, is very warm and welcoming, and was always eager to help during my stay. She also speaks perfect English, which makes it easy to communicate. The bed was comfortable and the appearance of the room charming. The bathroom was cleaned daily, and the shower worked well. Although there is sometimes noise from the street at night, the thick windows block most of the sound if you keep them closed. Right next door to La Locanda is a restaurant that serves fantastic food and wine. I would definitely stay at La Locanda again.
