#2 of 8 hotels in Bevagna
Once the home of the noble Pietro Brunamonti and his wife, the poetess Alinda Bonacci, this Palace makes you relive history. Roman remains, discovered during restoration, can be seen in the hall while the structure lays onto medieval walls. The atmosphere is an intriguing mix of a cozy home-like feel with the excitement of a fascinating history.

The hotel is situated in a small alley in this old town. Our room was clean, good shower, ac, and quiet.breakfast was fine. We got there early and were grateful that we could check in. Staff was not warm, but not rude either.

When a vacation rental fell through, this hotel saved the day! It's perfectly located, reasonably priced, and the staff couldn't be any nicer. The hotel was lovely, and we were very pleased. The sound-proof windows kept the outside construction noise (street repair) from interrupting sleep, and the shower was welcome.

We spent the night in Bevagna after an earlier day tour, because we thought it was exceptionally charming. We decided to stay at Hotel Palazzo Brunamonti since we happened to see it. All very spontaneous. The proprietress was very friendly, and before we knew it, we were nestled into a comfortable little room facing the back street. It looked just like the photos here. It was quiet, nothing flashy, just a great, solid hotel in a gorgeous Medieval city with heaps of charm, good WiFi, cute shops all around, great restaurants and cafes, free parking outside of the city walls, clean, and well-appointed, with free breakfast in a palatial dining room. We'll surely stay here again if in Umbria. It was wonderful!

Only stayed one night in this charming, older hotel - right in the historic centre. We requested a triple room and it was huge, in fact it included 2 separate bedrooms. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, only complaint would be that they are very dark, but it wasn't really an issue. Breakfast was plentiful - you can even request eggs and bacon made to order. Service was great, location was great - would not hesitate to recommend.

Stayed 4 nights here in a Superior room. The room was beautiful and large. Vaulted timber ceilings. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was not over the top, but ample, delicious and fresh. But the nicest touch was the manager Salvatore. So friendly and helpful ! When I mentioned we had had a long drive and I was ready for a glass of wine, he sent up a whole bottle - complementary. He had no trouble preparing me 2 cappuccinos to take back to my room every morning before we came down to breakfast. He is from Assisi so he had insider tips that made that side trip seamless. Helped with our heavy luggage, dinner reservations, etc....The other thing that I really liked about this hotel is the town itself. Bevagna is an old, interesting town with several restaurant options. And it is FLAT - I think the only one around !! Great wines in this region too. Several fun day trips close by. All in all, a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
