A newly refurbished apartment , top floor with a balcony facing the ocean. Inside , a well equipped kitchen including dishwasher , toaster , kettle and coffee machine , dining table and then a lounge with couch and a comfy reading chair. Floorboards and nice decor. Bedroom with comfy bed and linen supplied. Bathroom with a good sized walk in shower- no bath. Simple and neat , very clean in an amazing location - all shops and cafes at your doorstep. Parking for one car put the back , and all apartments require the use of stairs for access so probably not suited if you have mobility issues. Accommodation is for adults only , over 21 years of age. You are required to pick up and drop off key to another site a couple of blocks away. We will book here again .

We stayed in apartment 4. Chose to stay here as it stated there was a part view. There was no view at all. False advertising. Otherwise ok tidy, spacious, easy check in... except disappointment it wasn’t as described

Stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in Lorne. - spacious living areas - bathroom was so clean, 10/10, almost like it was brand new. - shower, good water pressure and warms up quickly - comfy, warm bed (sheet + blanket + doona) - pillows very flat - request 2 in advance if you need some height - cold at night time in living areas. The place has heaters but if you like to be toasty and cozy through cold nights, bring a blanket for the couch - simple self check in / out process with clear and simple instructions sms'd on day of arrival. - sent a 'calendar invite' to my phone automatically. Cool. -close to everything, cafes and beach. Best location. - entry gates are locked at night time, so you have to access your room from around the back which we weren't told about so lucky we worked it out !! Recommended.

Having booking this apartment 6 months ahead we walked in and were stunned. Not one picture on the wall it was like a sanitarium. The next discovery was no air conditioning and for top dollar this is a requirement if charging the price. The bathroom was renovated but no thought put In - water completely covers the bathroom floor and lack of shelf space for placing items and no soap holder. Unit 4 definitely needs a makeover and apart from the location there wasn't much to feel comfortable about. I wouldn't recommend this apartment and just because it is Lorne I'm sure there are other properties that take pride in making visitors feel welcome. Very disappointed.

A first time stay over the long weekend in apartment no 5. We were a little wary after reading a couple of negative reviews about the apartments but have to say our little family of 4 were completely surprised. This apartment was fitted out with everything you could need, the very very large comfortable couch, 2 queen beds & deep bath were great for the little ones and a fully functional kitchen. The apartment was so light & airy with a fantastic sea view, a full sliding balcony door where we enjoyed wine & cheese on the outdoor setting overlooking the main street below. The location was perfect walking directly out the front to the resturants, shops, beach & the park. The check in was very easy & trouble free we recieved our keys in a lock box & all necessary instructions were located in the apartment compendium. The towels, sheets & linen were very clean and perfectly laundered, the bathroom although a little used/dated was still very clean & acceptable. Natio amenities were also supplied along with tea, coffee, sugar & milk. We will definately be booking apartment 5 for all our future lorne visits.

Location: A 2 minute walk to the shops. A five minute walk to the beach Self Contained and lots of bench space, cupboard space and a comfortable bed, The buts: the heating was not working The other but: A little nosey as we had the studio on the ground floor which was at the end of the corrider that led to the court yard (nice pond). We didnot find a key at the drop box as directed. The office was closed, but the cleaner allowed us in.
