on Friday 25 May 2018, at 18:40 Denmark time, I endeavored to make a reservation for 23 July 2018. Although it might be possible to get to Denmark by 27 May, it was very clear by my actions that I did NOT intend to make a reservation for 27 May 2018. As stated, I immediately hit "Modify your Booking" when the erroneous date came up. Subsequently, within minutes, I call GO Hotel directly and clearly stated that there had been an error. I respect valid contracts. However, when an obvious error occurs and one or both parties endeavor, in a timely manner to correct the error, there should be reasonable accommodation; which should have been to correct the reservation date. In a contract setting, a mistake is an error in the meaning of words, laws, or facts which causes one or both parties to enter into the contract without fully understanding the outcomes or responsibilities implied by the contract. A “unilateral mistake” is such an error that is held by only one party and not shared by the other party. Therefore, if a contract was entered into based on a unilateral mistake, it may lead to various types of contract remedies such as contract rescission or contract reformation. Per precedence, in a situation such as this where an incorrect reservation date was issued, I immediately requested reformation to change the reservation date to reflect the parties’ original understanding. Specifically, I did NOT request rescission and to have the charge for the room removed; rather, I requested, greater than 24 hours in advance of the erroneous reservation date and within minutes of receiving the erroneous reservation, that the date be corrected to the actual date that I had requested which was 27 May 2018 (I have email and phone records as documentation). Per your direction, I contacted Tripadvisor which offered the explanation provided below. Specifically, Tripadvisor stated “All of the reservations being made is being handled directly by the hotel and or booking partner of the hotel.” So that brings me back to an error in the booking system by Go Hotel or Go Hotel’s booking partner. Again, I ask that you reconsider your decision. Treating any potential customer where an honest error occurred where legally, it is likely the contract would be voided makes little sense from a customer service perspective. I request that you reconsider the charges and find in my favor OR pass this request to the next higher level of Go Hotel management for their consideration. I do not intend to pay the charges associated with what should be an invalid contract unless absolutely compelled to do so. Further, I would be compelled to spread the word on this egregious act by Go Hotels through social media. Please review the timeline and documentation I have provided and determine if the public would find a unilateral contract mistake where I understood that I was making a reservation for 23 July 2018, the date I had airline tickets to travel to Denmark, or if Go Hotel’s decided to enforce a contract that clearly was in error were proper.

no free shuttle but cost me about £7.00 its only 2.3 klms but impossible to walk as the motorway runs past the end of the road its a safe country in general I left my luggage behind reception didn't get a charge.
