We needed some R n R and a new restaurant fix. The Shamrock is a grand symbol of past opulence in the style that gold built. It truly is a wonderfully elegant building that combines with a ‘pub’ feel. Live music, good food, multiple bars, plenty of interesting nooks and crannies and some history to discover. In its day it would have been something only the rich could have afforded. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plentiful hot water, not an uncomfortable bed - although personally I like beds very soft, close to heaps of restaurants too. We will remember our stay fondly.

What a fabulous place to stay. Contrary to what some reviews have been we have loved our stay. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect So glad we choose to stay here

What a beautiful hotel located in the centre of Bendigo. The suite was very spacious, well presented, modern and very clean. Perfect for a family stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying again at the Shamrock in the near future.

This fabulous hotel is centrally located to great parks, shopping and the tourist tram. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Great breakfasts and meals. Lovely balcony to sit and watch the world go by. We went with a group of friends and I’m sure we’d all stay again.

The Shamrock is an icon in Bendigo and the incredibly friendly and obliging staff made our stay a memorable one. Opposite the beautiful Rosalind Park and in walking distance of shops and restaurants I recommend the Shamrock for a step back in time with all the mod cons.
