After 30 years since we last had a holiday in Napier without children we booked in for one night at the Nautilus. The room was large with a good sized bed and the circular spa bath was great. I was a bit worried having the bath in the bed room but the space and ventilation

My husband and I used to stay at this hotel regularly a few years ago, so we were excited to go back again with our 5 month old baby! Unfortunately, it is far from the quality we were used to, and we were disappointed with our stay. When we first arrived in the room, it smelt

Thank you for your review. We were very sorry to hear that your expectations were not met. We are happy to assist with any issue you may have with your room once we are made aware of a problem. If notified we would have looked at altering your room in order to investigate and remedy the issue with the odour. The room reserved was an access apartment which accounts for the differences in the style of spa and shower. It is extremely unfortunate that one of your bikes was stolen. Bike storage in our garage was offered and utilised the first night. However, the bikes were left out on the second day unlocked. We also display police brochures advising guests about securing their property in order to limit the risk of any incidents. The summer Art Deco Festival attracts over 40,000 visitors to Napier and availability is extremely limited. This is the height of our peak season and is reflected in rates all across Hawke’s Bay. As the apartments are the larger family rooms the rate will differ to the smaller room styles experienced previously. It is very important to us that our guests have the best possible experience during their stay. We value your feedback. Thank you.

I have nothing bad to say about the Nautilus. The descriptions on the blurb on TA over egg the place though. It is simply decent, average accommodation. The rooms have little personality and old vinyl 80's lounge chairs. You come here for the location. The staff were welcoming

Very neat and tidy and amazing views. Reception lady was very friendly. It had a very Pacific Island feel to it with the wooden window and all that. Also, the hot tub was awesome. Loved it! Close to cafes and restaurants.
