dead cockroach in the wardrobe. extremely mouldy/rusty kettle. stained blanket wet drinking glass inside the cupboard. rusty sink in the bathroom. overall extremely dirty. at least 4 lamps inside the room that are not working. disgusting appearance of hand soup. so called "free upgrade" to deluxe queen, but the room size (20m2) apparently smaller than my original standard queen (35m2). this was by far the worst possible experience ever. this accommodation is an insult to the whole industry. it also tarnished the tourism of Brisbane.
We booked this motel for an overnight stay before cruising. Perfect location only about 400 metres from the cruise terminal. On the morning of the cruise the receptionist of the motel drove us and 2 other people to the ship for free. They looked after my car while we were cruising for a small fee. On return it was raining so we just grabbed a cab back to collect the car. It was only $7.90. I had planned on walking back for the car. There are some lovely places close by if you'd like to go out for a meal. The rooms were spacious and very clean.
Very comfortable night in a Deluxe Queen room. Room was a very well appointed and very quiet. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and we heard no traffic noise at all. The only noise was people on the stairs outside our room once. The bed was comfortable with generous bedside tables and multiple power points. Great for charging the phone and for my wife's cpap machine. There was a solid bench for our suitcase just inside the door which was a welcome convenience. A small kitchenette with microwave and bar fridge would be handy for some. Bathroom was large and in excellent condition. Nice soap body wash and shampoo dispensers. The shower was great with a massage type head that was very nice after a long day in the car. Hot water was pretty much instantly. One thing about the shower was you had to be in it before turning water on or it would squirt out of the cubicle into the bathroom. But as the shower cubicle was quite large it was easy to set the water without being scalded or freezing lol. In summary a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly, close to shops, restaurants, long term parking, the airport and cruise terminal and will definitely stay again. …
Great service ,friendly staff very clean accomadation ,convenient location ,close to the airport would certainly stay next time in Brisbane booked on line every thing ready when I got there ,easy check in and out
On arrival at the motel we were warmly greeted at the front desk. Unfortunately the lift wasn’t working, but an employee helped us carry our luggage upstairs, which was appreciated. Our room was large and had the facilities we needed for our brief, over night stay.
