We were visiting family & friends and we were returning to Melbourne but our flight was leaving really early hence we did not want to disturb anyone by having to get up so early so we made the decision to stay in a hotel overnight. As we were just going to sleep for 1 night we did not feel we needed to spend a lot of money so we thought this was very reasonable. Our expectations weren’t high due to the price although I am very fussy. Reviews suggested room was very clean so that sufficed. Also they offer free shuttle to the airport. WELL... it was fantastic. Room / bathroom spotless. Comfortable bed, nice linen, pillows. Tv, wifi, coffee facilities, toaster etc. all very nicely done. Could not fault it. Family run & from check in to drive to airport , so effortless & so friendly. We travel often & this is the best value I have ever had and the LOCATION is amazing. Ferry to the city, Woolworths, all the cafes & restaurants at your finger tips. Gorgeous village. Can’t fault Riverview Motel.

A very inexpensive room in a great location. A short walk to multiple dining options, riverside walk very close by, and close to ferries, the cruise terminal and airport. Very comfortable bed, clean rooms, friendly staff, and quiet given it’s not on Kingsford Smith Drive. I stayed here the night before an early flight to Sydney, will definitely stay again. I highly recommend the Riverview Motel.

I only had one night here as a stop in after arriving on a flight. Close to the airport and from here, to then bump along into the city - the location is ideal. Sure, the motel is older - but that is reflected in the price, which was more than reasonable! The staff or owner that I dealt with was super nice, kind and accommodating, above and beyond what I have experienced elsewhere. I would 100% come back to this motel and will be recommending it to friends. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Selected this motel as it is very close to Cruise terminal. Older Style motel which is partially updated. Some interior work still required by handy man. Apart from that owner was very helpful and agreed that work is still in progress. and will be done in the off season, which is the next few months. Decor was excellent with walled pictures of the past including Galleons, Napoleon era and others. Beds were comfortable, Kitchen area was average with toasters kettle an microwave. Unable to cook meals however there are some great restaurants within a ten minute walk. Free wifi and free shuttle at times by the owner. Web site requires updating as meals are no longer served.

Went to a seminar and bought my own coffee. The coffee was nice but the cup was a small cup for a large cup price. Plenty of parking, the breakfast looked good. The staff were a bit distracted and did not communicate very well. Venue facilities are lovely.
