Darlinghurst
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.

Well let me start by saying we arrived early and was checked in straight away and allowed to get into our room which was great. We were also allowed to check out late without having to pay anything extra. The room was nice, small and well equipped with a microwave, sink, fridge

Charming little boutique hotel located close to public transportation and neighborhood restaurants and cafes. Friendly and helpful staff. Great water pressure in showers almost worth it all by itself.

The old Medusa has certainly seen better days as her decor is a little tired, however, the rooms are perfectly comfortable for a short stay. We stayed in a small room on the top floor (stairs treads uneven due to age so a little disorientating). The bed was very comfortable, the

Hello, According to Google Maps the distance is 8.6km or a 15 minute drive depending on traffic, it would probably be around $30.00 in a taxi. I am sure there are restaurants in Leichardt but it is not our local area sorry. Nick Medusa Hotel

Does it have free parking
Thank you for your queestion with regards to parking. As we are built into an old terrace, there is no on site parking available, there is very limited on street parking. There are several off street parking options – Starwash/carpark approximate cost of $40 per day (located on Darlinghurst Road also a block up from the Hotel) and parking station on Bayswater road in Kings Cross at an approximate cost of $40 per day. Both are walking distance from the hotel.
