Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theatre, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.

I stayed here as needed this location, but budget was an issue. I had never even heard of this place, so was a bit hesitant when I realised where it was and how cheap it was. The building seems to be a heritage building. Lots of quirky passages and stairs. The elevator is

My husband and I just stayed in this hotel and our stay wasn’t great at all.... The hotel is inside an old mall and looks like a maze. The rooms are tiny and the mattress is terrible. But that’s not all... We tried to get into our room yesterday and the card reader on the door

Is there an airport/hotel shuttle? Reliable and inexpensive?
Shuttles do run from the airport into the city. You could also catch the airport train to Central station and the hotel is a short 5 minute walk from there. The train is the cheaper option and they run frequently.

Is breakfast included? Is there a restaurant in the Hotel?
Hi, Breakfast is a boxed breakfast which can be added at an additional cost of $10ppn. Unfortunately we do not have an onsite restaurant, however there are ample great choices and places we can recommend just a stones throw from the hotel.
