Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

14 of us were booked in this Hotel, but all was not as it should have been. Fortunately the staff did rectify this problem, after some lengthy discussions, plus proof via past emails! Eventually, all of us were given the required rooms. The room was small, but adequate. Each

The rooms are very small and cramped. No place for two people to move around. Very very basic facilities. Please do not stay in Ibis unless you want to feel claustrophobic. Breakfast menu also nothing much.

Dear Geethasrk, Thank you for your review. Please note we are and Ibis Hotel in an amazing location. We are suited to travelers on the go. May I suggest our sister Hotel the Mercure Sydney as they have more facilities that will accommodate you. All the best to you.

I thought this hotel was a little less than the standard I would have expected from an Accor hotel. Rooms-small could only fit one chair for two people-no handtowels (but we were given extra facewashers), Cleaning staff (2 on the 13 floor) wore masks "because of all the dust"

What is the best transport from the Sydney Airport? Or does the hotel have a free shuttle? Thank you.
Depends on how much luggage you have. A taxi to the city is not that expensive from the airport especially if there is at least 2 or more of you it will be cheaper than buying individual train tickets. The next easiest (& quickest) way from airport is the train to Central station, but tickets are around $15-$18 (it has been a while since I have caught the train) from there you can either walk about 10-15 minutes, or get a taxi about 5 minutes drive. Alternatively you can get off at Museum station and again walk (only 5 minutes away). I hope this helps.

1. ACCOR points- ring the hotel to enquire. I'm not too sure. 2. I don't think they have a shuttle to the airport. It's walking distance to the Central station where you can catch the airport link train. If there's more than one person, Uber is better priced. Wait for your ride across the road, it's a no stopping zone in front of the hotel.
