The room I had was not very nice and the floor was dirty with what appeared to be toe nail clippings. After the first night I asked reception to vacuum my room but when I got back it was the same. I wouldn’t stay here again. There also was no cafe or restaurant in the hotel.

We stayed at the Brassey for a conference. We had a choice of a number of accommodation options and came up trumps! The Brassey is a classy establishment inside and out. The service was superb from all staff who made us fell most welcome. They have a great gym with all the

The heritage photos have been removed and there is no longer a restaurant. The rooms have all been redecorated with the change in management and are very comfortable, but the loss of the former character is sad, and now there is a gym at the entrance with lots of people working

Hotel very clean & Staff very friendly & helpful! Highly Recommend the Brassey Hotel as it has a gym & restaurants at your convenience. Only problem was the noise of the old plumping piping. Oh well the Hotel is heritage.

Staff were friendly and efficient. The common café/kitchen area was lovely to have access to, particularly for travellers arriving late. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. Overall, a good place to stay for a business stop-over.

Is there a pool?
Best price I’ve ever heard of. Breakfast is not cheap and at another of their hotels close by. If you ask for a room to fit the cot in I’m sure you will get one. Be aware they take 2 lots of your price and one doesn’t go back into your account for several days. I had a huge whinge about this, imagine how many hundreds of thousands of dollars the Doma Hotels hold of other peoples money. If you can suck this up and the price is cheap enough it is worth it. They have tea and coffee and extra in the lobby. All in all it is good value for money.

Why is the fact that major construction happening on site not mentioned on website
Dear TessF499 Thank you for taking the time to reach out regarding our renovations. It is certainly not our intent to hide these works, in fact throughout the renovations we were regularly posting updates on our social media sites. With the interior hotel renovations completed, the exterior hotel grounds are a major focus to bring new life back into the beautiful gardens surrounding the Brassey Hotel.

can i park my car there
Absolutely. We have complimentary car parking for our guests located at the back of the hotel (Macquarie St entrance). Should this fill up as there are limited spaces, parking can be found at the front of the hotel (ticketed) and in the Realm Precinct.
