I have never had to write a review and criticize a hotel for its other guests. But I cannot explain why my husband and I found all the other guests at Freddies so incredibly rude. We were not looking to make friends at Freddies, but it is common courtesy at a resort with 9 rooms to atleast smile or say...

It is the most cheap lodging I've ever been to, but the most efficiently managed with top notch service by Freddie's and his team. We stayed there for 3 days, and not a single day left unsatisfied. The food is great, the snorkeling spot in front of the bungalows is great, the small private beach is good for reading, relaxing,...

All the bungalows are facing the blue ocean. Open your windows and balcony door and you fall asleep with the sound of the sea. The bungalows are decent and have hot water (a rarity at Pulau Weh). The reef with lots of tropical fish is just in front of you. Take your mask and walk down to the beach and...

What more can I add to the wonderful reviews. As indicated in the price , Freddies is not for those who are wanting luxury ...rooms are good /clean.. Family room has a magnificant view of the beach. however, can be a bit noisey as the guests leave for the early ferry. Bungalows further away much quiter.. you are woken to...

Magical place that i wish we had more time in. When we arrived my wife was very sick (food poisoning from night before) and freddie and his son went above and beyond to help us. we had arrived early (11am) and our room was not yet available but they wanted her to feel better so gave us another bungalow for...

My friend and I stayed at Freddie’s for three nights. Freddie was extremely helpful when I called him that morning to ask if he had a room for us, even telling me how much to pay (and not a penny more!) in the taxi from the ferry to his place. Freddie’s is set in the north of Pulau Weh and...

My wife and I stayed at Freddies for four nights. The rooms were good, clean and have a lovely view. Freddie went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves and the staff in cafe by the water were delightful. The evening buffet was good however, we chose to eat at the local market which provided good, cheap authentic...

When I arrived there, I didn't see any hotel or resort but a small car parking area. There is only a small board that show us "Freddies Santai Sumur Tiga" that made us believe we went to the right place. But, after we go down the stair we found an amazing traditional view of rooms and naked beach. The room...

My husband and I stayed at Freddies for 5 nights at the beginning of August and would definitely recommend it if you have experienced backpacking before and want something a bit more special than the usual budget hostel. Like the other reviews suggest, there is very little to do here other than relax, snorkel, eat and sleep so if that...

Freddie's sits right on its very own beach and has picture perfect white sand, crystal clear water and swaying palm trees. The rooms are built into the cliff side and provide the ultimate balcony views. Rooms are simple but simple is all that is needed. Rooms have fans not air conditioning but this fits in with the natural feel of...
