Big hotel with nice rooms. Very nice location facing the Fjord and the bridge. A few problems, however. The reception was not staff when it was supposed to. A hair dryer was missing in the room. And when we got our first course in the restaurant with shrimp and salmon, the chef forgot to include the shrimps. Wine in the restaurant was very expensive! Otherwise we were quite satisfied.
Nice place and rooms. Fine food, but to expensive wine. A lot of good offers, but it makes the stay confusing. Do you have room with wives, a bottle of wine at the room or coffee and cake. Do you pay extra for the offer in weekend? It could be nice if you had one price and then you can see what you get. Else a nice area, nice surrounding, fine meeting rooms. And kind personel.
A colleague and I had a short stay (2 nights) here. Food was good, rooms comfortable and quiet, with friendly professional staff. One of our evenings there was a large party of 75 yet our meal was served on time. We were not neglected despite the large party.
Stayed here for one night in November - the hotel is located right on the water, which would be really nice in summer. The hotel is deceiving in size, and is actually quite large, with a lot of rooms it seems. The rooms are perfectly adequate, but I feel they deserve an update, especially the furniture, bedding and 'art'. Even though this is rural Denmark, the rooms feel very outdated. The restaurant and bar are very pleasant though, and suprisingly busy.
The hotel is situated in a very nice area, close to the water. It’s a conference hotel and during summer time the reception is closed after 7 pm. The Internet is 20 Mbit down and 26 up. The room was not perfectly soundproof, but the neighbours were very quiet. The breakfast was rich and variated. And we had also a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. To stay here? Absolutely, above all if you appreciate to take walks along the water.
