This review is coming a little late.. Have stayed here with family 2 times in the past. Its a nice comfortable hotel, rooms might be a little small in terms of free space but its pretty decent. You have options to hang your suits in wardrobe, TV, coffee maker with some snacks striven across. You have AC which may or may not work to the full capacity (ours wasn't on one of the occasion). Bathrooms are nice, no tiles so doesn't feel cheap. Room service is okay. The best part is the buffet breakfast spread. Its great.. all indian options, live counters for Dosa.. its very sumptous. Our stay was 2-3 years apart but the breakfast seemed consistent. Good service from the help around.. Its a rooftop dine so feels airy and fresh! For a place like Davangere, this is on par with any 3 star budget hotels in Bangalore.

We were on our way from Bijapur and wanted a night halt at Davangere. We found the reviews to be good and decided to stay. The location is convenient, on broad main road with ample parking, rooms were good. Neat and clean and comfortable. But the best part was breakfast. It was excellent, and I would recommend this hotel just for its breakfast quality. Decent spread, but quality was very good.

Me and my wife were driving to Kochi from Mumbai and had booked Sankama for both onward and return journey. This was our second visit to the hotel after 3 years .We reached at night , Had a quick check in .We were allotted Room 209 . The disappointment was The TV was not working .Room service was quick and when we slept , realised that aircon was not cooling enough and so put the fan on full blast and went to sleep . Too tired to change rooms. In the morning i investigated and found out that 2 windows were open , since they were behind the thick drapes , it was not known at night. We informed the reception and they stated maybe the housekeeping staff had forgotten to seal the window back after cleaning . So the stay was disappointing . However our return journey , we were allotted Room 201 and everything was great . Very good breakfast spread at Top Floor , friendly staff and easy approach to highway is a big advantage .I am also thankful to the night security guard who for a small consideration agreed to wash our car in the morning both the times . Thank you Team Sankama for the good hospitality

Visited the city for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the place. Beautiful rooms, excellent food and complete value for money. Very nice interiors, lively and bright. This is the most economical place I have stayed and will like to come back again if they maintain their quality and prices.
