We visited Sanddrif for 12 days in March. Charlotte and Ben were excellent hosts. Always helpfull, discret, humoress, just perfect. Our poolhouse was a hidden treasure, the water in the pool smooth an clear, the breakfast a special moment every moment with a breathtaking view. While gambling at the pool we heard the fisheagles in the sky and saw them flying. Exzellent vineyards are nearby and it´s a 10 min drive to the wonderful citycenter of stellenbosch. All together a perfect place to explore capetown (45 to waterfront) and the winelands. We will be back next year! Thank you, Charlotte and Ben!

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Sanddrif Guest Farm for a weekend getaway.
I am certainly one to give credit where credit is due, so I would like to share a bit of our experience.
From the time we arrived until the time we left, we felt at home. We were welcomed and hosted by the owner, Ben ter Huurne, and his wife, Nicole, who ensured we were comfortable, happy and had everything we needed during of our stay.
The cottage we stayed in was modern and immaculately clean and neatclean. The property offers stunning views and the meticulously kept grounds host a tennis court, swimming pool, and the opportunity for leisurely walks.
Customer service has unfortunately become somewhat of an optional extra these days, but I can honestly say this was not the case here. You could immediately notice that hospitality is more than just a job for Ben ter Huurne, but a way of life, who he is.
Always going the extra mile, even with a personalised note in the cottage, it was the perfect balance of being attentive but unobtrusive.

We had a lovely 2 night stay with Charlotte & Ben. The couldn't have been more accommodating. The rooms were delightful and the spot was ideally suited for quick trips in to Stellenbosch and plentiful wineries in the area for tasting. The Winery "Jordans" up the road did the most delightful breakfasts and lunches and the recommendation from our hosts to visit Vergelegen for the day was inspired... beautiful gardens, architecture, food and of course wine... All in all, EXCELLENT!

We checked in to this special room with my one year old daughter. very special and comfortable room and being private. Room was very nicely furnished and very clean. The breakfast was lovely and when ben heard my one year old loves grapes he went out of his way to ensure that there will be grapes for breakfast, thank you Ben. The host ben is very friendly, accommodating and very helpful, thank you Ben we had a lovely time and will certainly be back for another stay.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and had a lovely time. Charlotte and Ben were excellent hosts that served a great breakfast. The pool was great to cool off in during the hot weather. Our room was a twin and a great size with everything we needed. We had three other friends stay in the same place with each their own rooms and they enjoyed their stay as well.

The personalised service, paired with the beautiful surroundings and well-run Guesthouse made this stay worthy of being repeated in future. The weather didn't play along so we missed out on the pool, but that's neither here nor there. Breakfast was tranquil and delicious. Definitely coming back.

The Sanddrif Pool Cottage is a little piece of heaven – perfect for couples or a solo trip to get away from busy city life. The cottage is 5 star and what a treat to relax next to your own private pool, enjoying the abundant bird life in the beautiful gardens.

Very nice place to stay, ideally located for visits to Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschhoek and Cape Town, all major wineries and golf courses. Spacious room and bathroom, very rich breakfast. Charlotte and Ben are perfect hosts.

Our stay at the Sanddrif Guset Farm was absolutely great.
Nice and quiet, close to Stellenbosch, very clean and everyone very friendly.
A good and central location for daytrips to CapeTown, wine-estates, for walks, safari, and great restaurants all around!
