The idea of staying in a tent in the middle of the Serengeti with all its wildlife is both thrilling and terrifying. There are no fences and I cannot describe how exciting it was to lay in our (very spacious and comfortable) bed, trying to work out which animals we could hear outside (hyena, an owl and a far-off lion I think!). Nyota is a new camp, and it is difficult to describe the magic of this place. So much care and attention has gone into helping guests feel safe and comfortable. Apart from the zebra galloping past the front veranda whilst the sun was rising, it would be easy to forget you were in a ‘tent’ in the middle of one of the oldest ecosystems on Earth. There is electricity throughout the night, instant hot water (the tank is outside your tent and heated by solar), amazing bathrooms (better than some of the lodges we stayed in) and the team of staff at the camp were exceptional. We were always greeted by big, genuine smiles, a team of staff who are clearly proud of Nyota and keen to share information about the wildlife, the plants and of course, the stars (Nyota means stars in Swahili)! We had 2 outside beds where we lay after a delicious dinner and tried to count the stars (and our blessings). If you are worried about staying in a tented camp, please think again. Laying in bed, listening to the sounds of the Serengeti waking up is something that cannot be equalled. Thank you everyone at Nyota. We hope to return soon!

Our favourite accommodation of our Safari. Huge tent, they hide most of the canvas with wood, beautiful! Food and service was excellent. We stayed 2 nights and staff even remembered our names. Universal plug, hair dryer, and wine and beer is included. Wine is from South Africa and it’s very good. Lion King safari owns this resort and it’s very new, less than 4 months old, very nice. Tip take your shower after your sandy safari day as I’m not sure how hot the water is in the morning, powered by solar.

It has been a fantastic couple of days staying in this tented lodge. The space in the tent is huge, airy and provided with all comforts. The internal shower was very spatious, and there was a lovely external shower also, to let you feel closer to the nature. The bed was a real king size and comfy. The lounge and dinner area in the open air, with the careful assistance of the staff, added a magic and luxury touch to the safari experience that is performed during the day. It is located quite centrally in the park, and 30 mins from the Seronera airport if you arrive/leave by plane. Worth to note is the high attention to environment. No plastic is used, especiallly water bottles are of glasses and refilled regularly. Highly highly recommended for an unforgettable Serengeti experience!

We had an unbelievable experience at the newly opened Nyota Luxury Camp. It’s located in the central Serengeti. The views are right in the nature. The employees are truly friendly and tried to converse and help us. The camp site itself has a solar heater that provides hot water with 2 bath rooms - inside and outdoor in the nature. The Maasai security Isaya guides you from & to your room after dark for your own safety. The night for surreal with animals. I recommend Lion King Adventures for a real luxury experience.

very cozy and beautiful tent, located in the central Serengeti.
Falicities are perfect, clean and folding drink water,24 hours clean water to take a shower in and outside the tent. Beautiful room view, can even see animals eat across the river. Good lobby and chef, various food every day.
What a surprise is that the night before we check out, all Nyota staff sing, dance and play "natural instrument" for us, amazing and moved!
Love the cozy tent and all friendly staff.
Will recommend Nyota for other friends!

Hands down the best camp experience I’ve had in Serengeti! Stayed here for two nights, but I wish we stayed for more. The tents were so luxurious, clean and comfortable. These big tents that are built with canvas and wood are equipped with a in-suite toilet, both an indoor & outdoor shower (with constant hot water), Wi-Fi, a lounging area and so much more! This place was truly magical, even better than I could have imagine. The staff was kind and accommodating, always trying to ensure that everything is okay. The kitchen staff was especially helpful because we had a lot of food restrictions, but they always did their best & made an effort to accommodate. So thank you for the stay, Nyota Luxury Camp is definitely a place that I would recommend to anyone !

Nyota luxury Camp at Central Serengeti is truly a five Star wonder. The rooms are luxurious with 24 hrs hot water through solar and grand king size beds. Add to it an additional open shower under the Sun in each tent!! Through the night you can hear a lullaby of hippos, hyenas and other small animals around the tent. The tents also have a well designed toilet and wood design that gives a very modern touch. Coming to the meals, the service of Duma, Maria, Deo and Ayub the Chief Chef is truly fantastic. They all go out of the way to ensure each meal is to your taste while taking care of the smallest needs (like chillies for Indians!!). The Camp Manager, Robert who ensures everything works like clockwork is always there behind the well organised and well serviced functioning. Last but not the least are the Masai guards who ensure all round security at the Camp. On the last day we got a surprise dance and cake which ended the stay with an emotional farewell, very touching and heartwarming. Overall, Nyota is a true wonder to stay, relax and a home away from home. Thnku Nyota and hopefully see you soon again!!

Out of all the lodges I stayed in on my 12 day safari, Nyota was by far my favorite.

The rooms are beautiful and large, with plenty of amenities and a large bathroom area. My favorite feature of the rooms is the outdoor shower. There's enough hot water and the outdoor shower is absolutely wonderful.

They also have robes and slippers to put on after showers which makes it feel even more luxurious.

The rooms are fantastic, but the staff here make it amazing. The staff are so friendly, so kind, and I loved getting to know them (especially the night guards).

Last but not least, the outdoor spaces are beautiful, and all I wanted to do was sit and watch the animals roam by.

Dinner and breakfast were great, although occasionally there were some bugs that infiltrated our meals. We expected that out in the Serengeti though!

The experience at angora was OUTSTANDING. The location is breathtaking. The tents are as luxurious as you can possibly imagine with hot, strong shower indoors and outdoors. You can hear lions roaring and hyenas from a distance and you expect to experience the wilderness of Africa in a more luxurious way than this. The staff is so kind, so polite, nothing is too much trouble. The energy is just contagious. We are already planning to come back with extended family. Thank you, Nyota family!

I stayed two nights at the NYOTA luxury tent camp in the Serengeti on a safari itinerary with Girls Guide to the World and I could have stayed a few more days! Located in a very active area of the bush you can see zebra, giraffes, antelope and cape buffalo from the porch of your tent as well as hear lions and hyenas at night. It was very safe! The staff were incredibly attentive and the food was fresh and well prepared. The tent was clean and comfortable with a king size bed, hot water with two showers one indoor and another outdoor and a flush toilet. It truly was everything I expected from a luxury tent camp. I didn't want to leave!
