Kwafubesi is a small camp with great accommodation and friendly, helpful staff. Ben was an attentive, knowledgeable guide and so we had awesome sightings and learnt a lot over the two days. We enjoyed days at the pool and a really relaxed vibe!

It was such a wonderful experience! From the moment we got there until the moment we left, we felt so welcome! All the staff are so friendly and always ready to help! The chef, Kevin did an outstanding job with the food with each meal, we enjoyed every moment of it! The game drives were out of this world! We experienced a very special and close up view of the elephants! Tristan was an absolute wonderful game ranger/guide! He really went the extra mile to make sure we got to see the “Mabula big 5”. He knows so much about the nature and we learned a lot during our stay! I wil re-visit any day just because of Tristan! Thank you so much for all your effort and friendliness, Tristan, we appreciate it and really enjoyed it so much! The accommodation is really nice, it is such a relaxing and quiet atmosphere where one can just enjoy the silence of the bush. If you want to relax and eat way too much, this is the place to visit! It was a wonderful experience and we really didn’t want to leave and we cannot wait to visit again!

Had a great two days-two nights at Kwafubesi. Staff were great and helpful at all times. Simple food brilliantly cooked by an accomplished chef who was happy to adjust to our particular needs. Host was always ready to assist. Game driver was knowledgeable, entertaining and patient. Mabula Game Reserve itself is stunning. If there's a single spot for improvement, it would be the installation of fans over the open-air dining room to keep a breeze going.

+1
Being in love with the bush we stayed at Kwafubesi for our wedding anniversary just after lockdown allowed us to travel. Needless to say we went on all the game drives available to us. We had high expectations, and the best part? Our expectations were not only met by Cyrano but also exceeded!! Cyrano’s knowledge of the bush, animals and the surrounding area is astonishing. There was not once were we asked his something and he did not know. The most amazing part was not only the knowledge about the “popular” animals he has but also about the smaller animals, birds and the bush in general. We looked forward to every game drive because we couldn’t wait to see and hear what he had to say. He treated us as family and not just paying guests. Thank you to Kwafubesi for employing such an awesome person. Cyrano is the reason that we wil definitely go back.
