After a turbulent start to my Ghana trip and a bad experience, I reached Scorpion Lodge, anxious and nervous, and left it rich in friendships, colors and experiences. This chill out gem is situated right by the powder like beach front of Busua beach. It's ran by friendly, smiling people who made sure I was comfortable and happy at all times. It is very clean and tastefully decorated. There are fresh coconuts and sometimes even bonfires. I can not recommend it enough, to all the surfers and adventurers alike. I am looking forward to revisiting the place in the future. I miss it already.

I had to extend my stay after what became my favourite Area in Ghana. Mike was there for my every needs and I felt safe and looked after (which is important especially as a solo female traveller ). I could not have asked for a better host. Rooms were clean and tidy, great breakfast, Beautiful views and overall nice vibe. Highly recommended stay :) thank you

Lovely place to spend a holiday in Busua! That's a great place for cheap budjet. It is calm, really close to ocean and surf beach. The owners are very friendly and the food is very good!
There is also a large place at the lodge on the sand with wooden tables and hammocks. I really recommend this place!

This is nice a verry ceap Hotel close to the Surf Beach. The Stuff is verry friendly and the food is excellent. They also a Bar with Palms and Sand with Hamcook for relaxing in the evening. You can also rent Surfboards there. For the surf you have to walk only 2 Minutes.

Loveliest place to be! Calm, close to the ocean & great location for small gatherings. The owner supports freedom of caught turtles by locals! Thank you for that! Michael helps where he can! The food is delicious. I can fully recommend, I just loved my time there!!

To end my trip in Ghana I planned to stay for three nights at the Schorpion Hill Lodge. The location was so good, that we decided to spent more nights at Schorpion Hill. We stayed for eight nights and the lodge was our final stay in Ghana.

The location is amazing and one of the best beaches I saw in Ghana, it is not crowded and it is possible to surf. The lodge is in the village and on the beach are plenty of places where you can eat, while you have a view on the sea. The rooms are nice and clean. The public space from the Lodge is on the beach, there are a lot of nice seats and plenty of hammocks under the palm trees. And they stay is very cheap!

I really liked the staff, they are friendly people. They have a shop where you can buy nice shirts and souvenirs made by Opoo. Besides that, there is a very friendly dog called Scorpion and they also have a very cute babycat where you can play with.

I think it's the best chillout place in Busua! Nice and clean rooms, extreme friendly staff, good food (also in the night ;) ), Music, hammocks and palm trees. It's about a one minute walk to the beach where you can go surfing or watch the fisherman preparing their catches for selling.
I can really recommend this place but better call before going there because sometimes it's full at the weekend.

I loved Busua beach! We went to Scorpion Lodge without a reservation and it was very relaxed and not busy, so it was OK. The room was nice and big, comfortable bed and bug net. The staff is wonderful and the food was really good and inexpensive! Would love to return.

I spent almost 1 week at Scorpion. That’s a great place for low budgets ! Mike, Dokat and Peter are absolutely lovely. And helpful. Food is good and cheap.
There’s a large place at the lodge on the sand with wooden tables and hammocks. It’s peaceful. A little piece of paradise I recommend !
