Free pick up from 45 minutes away hostel. Arrived around 11am. Free huge meal spread upon arrival. On the rooftop looking out over the pyramids and sphinx.... (!) All you drink free (non-alcoholic) drinks. When I decided I needed to supplement those with a little alcohol, one of the staff personally escorted me on the approx.15 minute walk to the nearest liquor store, kept me safe feel the crazy drivers, carried my drinks back, inquired into a few restaurants for me until he found a nearby one who served fish (I’m a pescatarian). No tip even contemplated. Staff sat with me for an hour to book my bus to Sharm el Sheikh on their phone. It’s not a 5 star hotel but my experience in Egypt is that 5 star hotels are NOT 5 star hotels so save your money, and get the BEST view with the BEST service and the BEST people. Oh ya, also free dinner. Should I go on?? Just stay here already...

We had a brief stay and found there were things to like about the hotel but also some cons.

On the plus side is the location of course. The view of the pyramids and Sphinx from the roof deck is wonderful. We took a quick taxi ride to the pyramid entrance then walked through the site. Very easy to do and not much hassle.

The hotel will provide free transport from the airport if you are staying several nights. Very convenient since the airport is far.

The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful.

On the downside, check in takes a long time which can be frustrating if you’ve traveled far. The rooms with the best views are several flights up and there is no elevator, so no quick trips to the market. Some of the rooms can be quite small and cramped. The WiFi is not dependable so better to have your own service.

All of the staff were extremely helpful and hospitable, they went out of their way to help us navigate, find places to eat, book tours and give us the best possible experience. They went and got us a SIM card and even delivered food to our room! They made us feel so welcome and made our trip easy and enjoyable. Especially Moses and Abdul!

The breakfast spread was amazing (yoghurt, halva, bread, omelette, hummus, falafel, mashed potato, juice, tea/coffee, water, meats, cheeses). All on the roof top with a perfect view of the pyramids.

On New Year’s Eve they hosted a party on the rooftop with free dinner, traditional dance performances and fireworks. It was so much fun!

From the roof you can also see the sound and light show, on our first night we were provided with a welcome dinner whilst watching the show.

It is an excellent location very close to the pyramids.

We had a deluxe double room with a balcony and view of the pyramids. It was nice and comfortable. Cleanliness was a decent standard.

For the first night we were in a double room with a view (as we arrived very late in the night) It was a large spacious room but could have done with some maintenance.

Thank you for an amazing time in Cairo, we will be recommending you and will stay again if we return.

The amount of money I paid was for a hotel
This wad like a guesthouse , the toilette was dirty and the duvet was dirty.
These all should be freshly clean and checked before the arrival of guests
To add, I thought I had paid already but on arrival I was asked to pay in EGP which ended up costing more somehow on the exchange rate from GBP.

I did complain about the room and they did attempt to make up for it by organising a a private driver to take us around cairo. The evening meal during the pyramids light show was very tasty/great I must say.

The booking for some reason on booking.com was cancelled by the hotel after our stay even though we of course paid for it and did stay . Maybe an attempt to prevent the review

The view from this Inn is incredible. It truly cannot be beat. Unfortunately that is where the positives on this place end. In my room the TV did not work (well it got one channel but the volume didn't work), the heat/ac unit did not work, the room and bathroom were very dirty and the bathroom smelled like sewage. I had a second floor room facing the pyramids which was a great view, but the street outside stayed busy the entire time I was there. It was EXTREMELY loud all through the entire night to the point that I only got an hour or two of interrupted sleep. The free breakfast that was provided had many, many choices and eating breakfast while looking at the pyramids was nice but not nice enough to allow me to recommend this place over the concerns I have already expressed. While I was waiting for my car to take me away after checking out, I also noticed that another traveler checked in and was given my room number (this had been maybe 5 minutes after I checked out). So I am not sure how well they could have cleaned (if at all) in 5 minutes. The area around the inn is also very sketchy. I chose this place for the view and that was incredible but my recommendation would be to stay somewhere else and Uber to see the pyramids.

While the location, restaurant and rooftop view are hard to beat, the customer service and business operations are horrible. I felt bad vibes before checking in because they were taking a long time to respond to emails plus some of the reviews I read prior were not good but kept an open mind and decided to stay here. First, the moment I attempted to check-in, they would not stop pestering me about buying one of their tours. Then, they told me to go to the rooftop for a welcome drink so that they can keep forcing and guilt tripping me about buying a tour. Thirdly, I agreed the next day to get a tour with rec from a fellow hotel guest as he had mentioned there was a lot of walking. The tour guide they gave was horrible and ending up being lazy when touring us the pyramids. She did not give us a proper tour of pyramids and rushed everything. We did not not really go up and close to Pyramid and Spinx. It turns out the pyramid area was not that big and the walk was easy- the fellow hotel guest was a weakling! Fourthly, the shower drain was clogged and it took several requests for them to fix it. It was enough the bathroom flooded as a result. This is all shady business!
Please note there are no elevators on this property and that the stairs are steep with low ceiling. Easy to hurt your head!
On the plus side, the location, view and being able to view the night show from the rooftop (and not physically going there and paying an entrance fee) was a big plus point! They upgraded me to a room with a balcony, which I am grateful for.

In all, I would say this; No what to expect if you decide to stay here, but I would not give a recommendation to stay here.

This is a small locally run hotel. The owner Amir and his family are fantastic hosts -nothing was a problem for them. The location of this hotel is outstanding. The rooftop boasts excellent views of the Pyramids and the Sphinx. It is perfect place to end your day and watch the sunset with the added bonus of the sound and light show at 7pm and 8pm. A large breakfast is served on the rooftop all these aspects in itself make this hotel quite unique considering what you overlook. The service you receive on the rooftop is exceptional and all complimentary from the hosts - water, coffee, tea, fruit juices, shisha whatever you want and when you want they will try their upmost to ensure you enjoy your stay with them. All tours can be arranged at the hotel inc airport pick ups, drop offs. My room was clean and tidy with nice view of the Pyramids. The owner was kind enough to let me use a room for a shower before I left for the night train. Yes there is some noise from the street approx 630am - 930pm this is normal for Egypt and it didn't bother me. I had a great nights sleep here. I stayed here as a solo female traveller and I loved every minute of it.

We had a fantastic stay here, all the staff are so attentive and will do what ever they can for you as well as randomly providing free drinks, delicious smoothies and fruit platters. The breakfast was always well presented and very filling in preparation for a day of sightseeing.
The room with the view of the pyramids was so worth the very small extra cost, waking up and opening the curtains was everyday breathtaking and surreal. The room was spacious and lovely to have the fridge and kettle to make your own drinks when you wanted.
A special shout out to Mido who took us on our tour of the pyramids and Saqqara he’s full of knowledge and made our day very enjoyable and came away friends.
Esslam was also very kind and fun for our evening river cruise trip on the Nile.
We did have quite a wait for some food one evening, that we had ordered to our room due to heavy rain up on the roof top but aside from that everything was very good.
Oh and not quite able to sit on the toilet seat properly (because the shower cubicle door was in the way) was a bit uncomfortable but not the end of the world!

We booked a room with views to the pyramids. When we got there he said the room had a problem, we put us in another room. Next day a called to complain because I paid for a room with balcony, the reception guy a bold one said someone is in the room at 12 they leaving so we will clean the room for you just go for a breakfast. I was really angry as the night before he said they were repairing the room. We went to had breakfast guess who waits for you at the roof top the manager offering you trips, it was annoying because they force you. As he was the manager I complained about him about the room he said speak to the reception. Again I complained he said speak to the reception, no help at all from the hotel manager. The gave us at 2 our room the toilet smells bad, the room had flies, the balcony was nice but too small. After complained about the room and insisted for a refund for the night before they gave us a dinner for free we had to pay for the drinks too expensive and the food was disgusting. Breakfast was amazing, Hasan is very kind and always helps, him is the only good thing about the hotel. We stayed for 4 days which we hated there are hotels next to this one better with better services and same views. Really bad experience in this hotel.

Worst experience ever.! We book this hotel for 10 people and when we arrive there were not enough room for our group so he sent us to a hotel next to his hotel. Let me tell you, the hotel that he sent us it was not a hotel that looks like a hostal. The rooms were dirty, the roof of the bathroom was broke, no clean towels and a lot of noise. Also The family that stay in the actual hotel that we reserved from the beginning they also complain with the same issues. Very bad attention, no professionalism and very rude. Since we didn’t want to spend the night in this mess of hotel we make a reservation a couple of hotels down and stay at the Great Pyramid Inn and the experience was 100 times better. Please, please don’t stay at this hotel.

Simplemente escribe un email al hotel y no te pondrán ningún problema en enviar a alguien a buscarte. Cuando bajes del avión deberás comprar el visado para entrar en el país, creo que son 50$ americanos.
