An absolutely great experience. Location in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Professional management and staff. Beautiful and clean accommodation and camping sites. Easy access, road in good condition. Plenty to do in the area, visit the lakes and estuary. Great kitchen with adequate utensils. WiFi available but one tend to stay away from phones. Absolutely great bird watching opportunities. Safe and secure and it is obvious that the lodge and surrounding inhabitants work well together. No security threat whatsoever. Will definitely be back and tell many people of our great experience.

We went as a family of parents and two junior school aged boys. We stayed in a Tusker unit. It was spacious and very sturdy (had quite the wind storm one night) and very private, with a GREAT shower. The campsites look fantastic, we'll definitely do that next time. I found the atmosphere extremely relaxed and staff were always on hand (but discreet) and happy to help. We self catered so can't comment on the meals but they did look great. The lodge is a stone's throw from the estuary (you could walk it quite easily) and with a high clearance vehicle with diff lock you can get down to the estuary quite easily. The lodge has WiFi plus cell signal booster which is great as it's a very remote part of South Africa. Nearly Manguzi has adequate shops for groceries and fuel.

Had a great time there. Bathrooms was very clean and warm showers. Few suggestions: keep the bar open for the whole day, take away “honestly bar” and get a vibe going at the pool area with music. serve basic food (breakfast, burgers, sandwiches), to all visitors and not only booked meals. And have a kiosk with some treats (ice-cream, cold-drinks, chips, etc.)

Great place friendly staff, a must on your bucket list. Camp sites various sizes to accommodate groups or a family. Away from the city buzz and hassle. The road from N2 to Manguzi vía Jozini is slow and many crossing animals, just take it easy. To Mike & Enock keep up the good work.
