I stayed in Lorica on Lake Arvo at the Residenza Lorica in a two-room apartment on the 2nd floor with lake view, kitchenette and half board. The residence is equipped with a spa and good quality catering, professional staff is available, daily cleaning of the rooms with linen change. The center of Lorica has a pleasant lakeside promenade with bars, restaurants and attractions for adults and children. We had a really nice stay! The staff was outstanding. Giorgio, always cheerful, aggregating and available to suggest excursions and personalized activities.
The location is central and the lake view is, without a doubt, one of the strengths of the property: a breathtaking panorama that can be enjoyed from most rooms and common areas.
The spa, although small, is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is intimate and relaxing and the attention to cleanliness is impeccable. The restaurant is closed for work, but great tips for outside restaurants.
The only note concerns the bed, a little saggy and worn for me. However, this small inconvenience did not affect the overall quality of my stay. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful property, very comfortable in a strategic location. On family condition. Friendly and nice. The manager's mother washed the stuff we used in the previous days without any problem. We are walking along the cycle path of the Calabrian parks and this is a point not to be missed. Structure fifty meters from the lake. Really beautiful.

I had a small apartment with 4 beds and privacy for 2. Convenient kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The sofa bed is decidedly not very comfortable for the back... I would also like to point out the lack of a deckchair or chair on the terrace overlooking the lake. In general, the stay is sufficient but it can and should be improved, for example by putting ping-pong and table football in the games room near the SPA. The SPA has a fee and honestly 30 euros per person for the sauna and hydromassage, not even for exclusive use, seems a bit much to me. Even the mandatory cost of 120 euros for cleaning and electricity + gas seems excessive to me considering that in other resorts you pay much less. So the stay is adequate but not excellent.

Very beautiful place, surrounded by nature, exceptional lake view, tourist locations such as Camigliatello Silano easily reachable in a few minutes by car. Residenza Lorica is ideal for spending days in total harmony with nature, a pet and family friendly hotel. Lake Arvo, reachable on foot, allows you to take beautiful walks. Along the lake it is possible to carry out various activities including horse riding. The structure has large rooms equipped with every comfort. Excellent cleaning. The hotel staff is always available for every request, especially Daniele at the reception. Particular mention must be made to the staff in the restaurant area, kind and attentive waiters for our every need, Marzia Zavatto and Vincenzo Amatuzzo perfect in coordinating the team and ensuring that everything works perfectly for us guests. Compliments to the chef for his always refined cuisine. The structure is certainly an excellent point of reference for stays in the heart of Sila.

We stayed at Residenza Lorica (for the second time) to spend New Year's Eve 2023/24, staying from 29 December to 2 January. Lorica is immersed in nature, in peace, surrounded by Lake Arvo which makes it suggestive, attractive, exciting for those who do not experience the mountains all year round. The only flaw this year was the absence of snow which would have made our holiday even more fascinating given this time of year. However, the lifts are open to climb to the top and admire a fantastic view above the clouds, it's a shame not to be able to ski there. Welcoming structure with rooms complete with every comfort, always kept tidy and clean by the staff who are always kind and attentive to requests. Spa (not very large but effective) where you can spend an hour and a half in total relaxation for the modest sum of 30 euros each. An exceptional restaurant to say the least, starting from the cuisine with the various first and second courses, typical (and otherwise), which make every meal excellent. All coordinated and managed in the room by Mrs. Marzia and Vincenzo, very friendly and available to listen to any needs. Top and engaging entertainment managed by Gaetano supported by Denise, Lara and Laura who were very nice throughout. Definitely worth returning for the third time, hoping for a snowy period to be able to enjoy the various ski slopes.

Quiet location overlooking Lake Arvo, excellent location for reaching it on foot. Breakfast with a wide choice of cakes and croissants, dinner with a menu that takes you back to the mountains, all very good. Lastly, I leave my praise for the staff, in addition to their kindness and friendliness, there is also a lot of friendliness. We will return in winter to try the spa too!!!!

Comfortable residence in an excellent location on Lake Arvo. The structure has a good restaurant and various other services, however it lacks a laundry service. Good bar for an excellent breakfast to start the day.

At first glance it seems like a poorly maintained and very dated structure. But immediately after the 70s window another reality appears. Very clean, well-kept environments, very welcoming and kind reception and staff. Large, comfortable yet basic rooms. The strong point is the cuisine, surprising to say the least. Refined flavors that conquer every palate. Exceptional pizza..! The house wine is also very pleasant. Another positive note: the animation... engaging, fun and never monotonous! A place that I recommend to all families and beyond! Lorica a tourist destination to discover.
