Stayed at this hotel for one week..... Clean and comfortable rooms with a very warm welcome by staff on our arrival. There was a great deal of choice with food and drink and we were never disappointed. Had most of our meals in the Atlantico restaurant which overlooked the ocean

Had a really relaxing winter holiday at this hotel and planning on returning next year. The facilities were great - lots of things to do (gym, spa, massages, exercise classes, several pools, tennis, football etc ) and the beach/dunes nearby with many shops. There was ample room

The recent stay at Riu Club Gran Canaria was our third in the last five years and it maintained the highest quality in every aspect that we enjoyed on previous holidays. The rooms are modern, spacious and well appointed. Our only criticism being the TV had no English channels

This is the first time I have stayed in an A/I hotel for many years as I could not put up with the poor wine selection. I gave up drinking wine a few years back and now only drink cocktails when I am on holiday. Drinks, I drank four pinacoladas on my first whole day here. This

The rooms with sea views are the swim pool rooms. They can sleep 3 They are separate to the main hotel rooms - which overlook the gardens and possibly sea at a distance. We have just been and stayed in the swim up rooms and had a fantastic week.

If you leave the hotel at the back, onto the promenade and turn left. It’s a nice walk by the sea and a short distance takes you to the lighthouse. Just past that it turns into a beach and there you will find Paddy’s beach bar which shows sky sports and i guess prem league. Not a long walk at all. Hope that helps

I emailed the hotel and asked for a high floor and sunny room

Are there pool towels supplied at reception or in the room ?
You will get a towel card when checking in and can exchange them by the pool for the towels and can get fresh ones everyday.

Inflatables are tolerated in the two main (central) pools, but not in the others. I believe they are not supposed to be allowed, but we have been a number of times and nobody from the hotel stops them. I think it's a case of the hotel not being spoil sports and letting you enjoy yourselves, as long as you don't abuse their use and do something dangerous. In fact the entertainment staff include their use in their games. Pools are freshwater.

"We paid a little extra and had a garden room which was nice, looking over the garden rather than next door hotels."
"If you want a quite room, please advise/arrange when booking, as there are sections of the hotel adjacent to the entertainment area."
