It is a nice campsite, very quiet and easy going. The owners are super kind and warmhearted, they organize lovely dinners and other activities. And we loved the eco-philosophy on the campground. We were a bit dissappointed though about the Summer chalets (where we stayed for a week). They are a bit outdated and the price is too high for what you get. But I understood that the owners will change these cabins and build new ones. Also our recommendation would be to check with the owners where your gite or chalet is placed (some of these are quite close to the road where you will hear the cars. It was a pity that the pool was a bit too cold, specially with young kids. Even on hot days, it was a bit too cool to play in the pool for a longer time toddlers. It is a nice, spacious and quiet campground and about 40min drive to the closest river spot at the Ardeche. One evening we had dinner at the campground restaurant, we thought the prices were a bit too high for what you get. Overall great holiday and experience at this nice place and lovely family campsite, perfect if you bring your own tent, highly recommended (and perhaps in the future also great to book a summer chalet when they have the rebuild cabins).

We were so lucky to stumble across this gorgeous "natural" campsite. We set up our two bell tents in the trees. Loads of lovely spaces for our hammocks! We could lay in the hammocks and smell the surrounding lavender fields! The swimming pool was LUSH adn in the heat of summer used a lot! The owners had really thought of everything to make your stay special! There is a beautiful nature walk around the perimeter where you can sleep out in a hammock or pause on the decking spots to watch the shooting stars. Ther is even a wrought Iron bed in the middle of a field! One night an astronomer came to give a presentation (my French is not good but he sounded like he knew his stuff and had a PowerPoint) I agree that the ground was very stoney in places but this didn't actually effect our sleep or the pegging in. Having driven past and through some of the campsites nearer to Vallon Pont D'arc we were so pleased we picked this one. Saint Remeze is a beautiful little village with an EXCELLENT tourist office. I cannot rate it enough :)

Stayed here with a large group (over 40 of us, including kids) using the campsite as a base for visiting the area and would really struggle to seriously fault the place. Absolutely ideal for our needs. All the staff were very helpful, including putting up with our attempts at French(!). The facilities were all very good, very clean and in very good condition. There was also plenty of shade if you need it and a lot of space (even with our large group and a lot of other people on the site, it really did not feel cramped or full at all) The bar was perfectly suitable with a wide range of drinks available. What really stood out though was the restaurant and the range, quality and prices of food available. The daily "Menu de jour" was a regular choice for several of our group... Minor gripes (and they are minor!), the ground was a bit hard so needed a hammer to put the tent pegs in; the wifi was very limited (but hardly used it anyway) and there is only one toilet / shower block - this was very good and was more than adequate for the number of people on the site, but there was only one, so if you have one of the more remote pitches, you could have a long(ish) walk.

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the rental accommodations which are very comfortable and well equipped. The camping is very quiet and was - when we were there - mainly filled with people with tents who have 'l'embarras du choix' to choose a beatiful, spacious and shadow-full spot. The swimming pool is very nice (no slides or other stuff) and the overall atmosphere is quiet, relaxing and just as vacation should feel like. stay away if you prefer noise, disco, loud people, ...
