It was our second visit at Thomas place and I can trully reccomend it for everyone. You always receive warm welcoming, good local food and wine at their restaurant and even an appointment at car service, if required as myself two days ago!!

We chose this pension because of its close proximity to the Bad Blumau thermal spa, which was an easy drive. The rooms were recently remodeled in pretty wood and nice enough, but the free wifi was spotty, and getting to the breakfast room required walking outside and around the building rather than through the owners' personal quarters (not a big deal most of the year, but quite chilly during the cold, snowy winter). The fridge of wine bottles for guests to purchase was a nice touch. Cash only.

We spent only one night there, but we will came back with friends or family.

The pension is located outside the town, near a corn field and a small river. Very silent and paceful location, there is a huge garden with a few bildings, equipment for children, places to sit and talk or play cards. A few thermal baths are very close (3-10 minutes drive), the famous Hundertwasser bath, Rogner Bad Blumau is just 2-3 km. The area is also excellent for walking or bike trips.

The family makes their own wine wich is excellent, the restaurant is open at the night, you can spend your time there and taste wines.

The rooms are very nice and well equipped, we had a large balcony, lcd tv, clean and large bathroom. Breakfast is fine, just as usual in Austria.

I warmly recommend to families, couples, groups. Price is also very friendly.

We booked online on booking.com a room here, since we needed to take a rest from driving too much , including Breakfast -I made sure it actually was included in the price before submitting the request online, together with my pals ,not to mention I NEVER BOOK ANYTHING WITHOUT Breakfast INCLUDED.

We drove 25 KM away from the highway to Vienna to this location, which is COMPLETELY ISOLATED FROM ANY NEIGHBOURS - and this is not even mentioned deliberately, just to arrive in the middle of nowhere, on a secluded by forests field, 11 kilometres away from civilization, in this remote farm

It was dark,foggy and cold.
We were almost the only tourists staying in that giant concrete cave.

The host guided to our "room" , which was extremely small , with a roof that didn't allow us to walk normaly through the room.
We were suppose to pay 95 Euros for this ,breakfast EXCLUDED - and which was suppose to cost , surprisingly, another extra 25 Euros.
OUT OF NOWHERE , IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE.

Completely absurd!

Why are you calling your pension "FRUHSTUCKSPENSION" ( germ Fruhstuck = breakfast) , if the Breakfast is NOT included?

The situation was simply abnormal and inhuman.
We felt shocked and disgusted by all of this , so we took the chance to find another hotel , with more credible, civilised, transparent and humane profile.
