We recently stayed for 2 nights as a short break to visit Cliveden House/Windsor/Marlow - fab location to visit all of these lovely places. We had adjoining rooms in the main hotel. The rooms are quite spacious & felt even bigger being adjoined. The beds were very comfortable & everywhere was spotlessly clean. All the staff we came into contact with were lovely & friendly. We were lucky with the weather to enjoy drinks in the garden & light bites to eat one evening-calamari was excellent. A special mention to the beautiful gardens which were always being looked after. Highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed in room 401 for two nights to visit nearby Ascot races. Our room was part of the old stable block behind the main hotel....large bed and little patio area opening out onto the gardens, we enjoyed two nights of restful sleep. Breakfast each day was good with individually prepared on our first morning but on the saturday was a served buffet...due to being busier, but they still prepared an excellent eggs benedict for my wife. We also had dinner in the restaurant on one night which was also good. The hotel is about 15 mins by taxi (ordered by reception for us) to ascot racecourse. Other plusses are that the hotel isnt to far from main motorways, has ample free parking and there's a large tescos just 5 minutes away by car.

Almost perfect place to stop for Legoland. Rooms are very clean and spacious with some nice grounds to play with the children. The only bad criticism is that the restaurant needs to improve the availability of its menu. When having arrived on a Sunday about to order our evening meal to then be told that a number of options was not available. One of which was any Sunday roast (which they could offer us with out Yorkshire pudding or roast potatoes) roast dinner priced at £20. Also breakfast that should have had hash browns came without but was not told to us until we questioned it. Staff was very polite and helpful.

We stayed here because it is close to Legoland but we wanted somewhere with a bit of character rather than a big chain. The welcome when checking in was excellent, the room spacious, comfortable and clean with some lovely extra touches such as an activity pack for our son and antibacterial hand gel. Dinner was just ok, service a little slow. I think the private dining pods get priority. Breakfast was busy but well organised.

Absolutely stunning property. Clean, spacious room with great housekeeping. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff, great service and superb food. We had both breakfast and evening meals here. Kids activity packs on their beds on arrival. Can't wait to visit again
