We visited here with our godson and his younger brother recently and they loved it. The animals that we saw were really interesting (a lot of the animals weren't around - am guessing they were having an afternoon rest) and the boys especially liked the dinosaur park. We had taken a picnic lunch with us and it was really nice to be able to have this in such a lovely setting. You basically go around at your own pace so it is up to you how long you take to go around.

Just back from a great weekend here. The pods were spotless and comfortable and did everything you needed for an overnight stay. The other accommodation is more luxurious and come with gold buggies but this budget option is great. Plus the proximity to the lions (3 baby Cubs) and tigers was fantastic. The safari park overall is great and the freedom to roam in the evening is amazing. It felt like the animals woke up and gave us a personal show. Thoroughly recommend this as a mini break location.

Fantastic experience in the giraffe lodge and on the safari, we loved our night there and saw plenty of animals from the balcony, restaurant and whilst travelling to/from the tent. The views from the tent, even without the wildlife are amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful whilst in the park and the guides have so much information to share. The tent itself it very cozy and warm, plenty of electric sockets for your creature comforts. Heater, lamps, throws and robes included. The ensuite bathroom could do with some tlc. Food at the buffet restaurant was very nice, we felt well looked after as my wife is vegetarian and also can't eat spicey food but there was still plenty she could eat. 1 star off because the park does a really bad job of explaining what you actually get when trying to book. The website is really confusing and the staff answering the phones don't seem to know what you're getting either. For example we had a mini safari included in our stay and it was the highlight of the trip, but the first we knew about it was on the way to the lodge! Also a bit disappointed that none of the golf buggies are available to hire, dispite there being 30+ totally unused during our stay.

Came here as a surprise for my husband’s birthday and boy, what a surprise?! Absolutely fabulous stay here, it was like being in a real life ‘lion king’ especially as the four new Cubs were born 5 weeks previous. Sat in the outdoor bath at 10pm and one of the lionesses made an appearance right up at the window……and just sitting there watching them, you don’t want to leave the ‘AMAZING’ accommodation in case you miss anything. It truly was a spectacular stay and the memories will last us a lifetime. If you can get the chance to do it then do it. BOOK IT NOW. Experience of a lifetime. Thank you to all the staff (especially the 2 Chloe’s) who helped to keep this a surprise for my hubby right up until the last minute. Thank you Port Lympne, would love to return 🦁🦁

What an amazing few days! We stayed in one of the bear lodges for a friend’s birthday - a truly memorable and unique stay, with every detail considered. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a fantastic time - from our Champagne afternoon tea in the beautifully decorated garden room, to the giraffe feeding experience (highly recommend), an amazing dinner with perfectly selected wines and toasting marshmallows in our lodge, we had a stay to remember. Huge thanks to Fed and the team - we will be back!
