We stayed at Dube for the long weekend & I don't have a single bad experience. The bathrooms at the camping grounds were always clean or busy being cleaned. The staff were always friendly & helpful. The food at the shop was good & affordable. Everything was fun. Would definitely visit again.

The resort is one of those hidden gems, close to Gauteng.
Ablution no 5 is well planned, always clean, and lovely.
When we arrived we were disappointed with the sites, however, after the first night, we loved it. You feel close to nature. It is so peaceful here, we were able to completely relax.
All the facilities were perfect, the hot water pool a great hit.
The only negative feedback would be the shop is scarcely stocked. And there is no restaurant.
I would return.

We arrived early and got good campsites as there policy was first come first serve. The facility's was very clean and staff friendly and helpfull. The place is a paradise for children and our grandkids enjoyed the slides and pools. My only concern is that there hot under roof pool witch is a great attraction for the place is too smal for 130 campsites. It was packed and resulted in a hygiene problem that should be adressed and cleaned on a more regular basis. I greatly enjoyed our stay but will first give concideration to other resorts.

We had a fabulous time watching the game and the swimming pools, hot and cold, were always clean and pleasant. The entire experience was great. We will go back some time. Staff was helpful and friendly. Good value for money and a peaceful atmosphere all round.

Amazing camping venue in the Madibeng area. Giraffes take a stroll through the camp site in the morning. Sparkling pools. Great bushveld vibe. Friendly staff. Water slides, putt putt, pool table, table tennis. So much for all family members to do. Spotless bathrooms. Pack and go!

All 3 of our mountain bikes stolen on our first night. Amongst other campers items (luggage from a tent, toiletries etc.) 7 bicycles in total were taken. The owner, Gert Scheepers, had left on holiday the day before (and clearly all operational ability too) and although reception gave us his personal cellular number, it was up to us to co-ordinate and report the theft. We had 3 kids with us and other affected families had children too, not even a phone call to ask if everyone was ok! Our entire Saturday morning was wasted giving statements to police, the weekend was ruined. A formal email was sent on Monday the 05th December 2016, to date still no feedback. I believe this was adequate time for Mr. Scheepers to respond before taking my complaint public. I guess the upfront payment was more important than the well being of the guests.

We booked for 3 stands over the Easter Weekend. We only arrived on Friday and by then almost all the stands were taken and there was nothing big enough for 3 families. They did not tell us when we booked that it is on a "first come first served" basis. We had to squeeze into one stand but paid for 3. I want my money back. At least two thirds of it.

The picture you build up in your mind when looking at the pictures on the website is all wrong. Once you arrive you get the shock of your life. The Cabin is a small narrow rectangle box. The arrangement of the whole Cabin needs a full upgrade including appliances. However you warm up to the little place very first due to the peace and tranquility. Also you get to see animals just outside your bedroom window which I must say is really cool. No private Jacuzzi and the public ones were not working during our stay however the heated poor was working. Linen is not changed unless you request it to be. All in all, in order to enjoy your stay you have to bring along all the things that make you comfortable.

We went camping from 21 Dec until 31 Dec 2018. Not only have the stands been halved practically to accommodate more people but the lack of site personnel were shocking. Ablution facilities can only accommodate half the people. No personnel like life savers on the rides to protect and regulate miss use. The shop ran out of stock halfway through our stay and the nearest town is Brits 15-18km away. You cannot buy anything or you must travel. The power failed 3-4 times daily putting strain on equipment every time it switches on again. DB boards where you plug into are so dilapidated and worn out doors hanging open loose where children can touch live wires anytime. The windmills are leaking so much water of worn pipes but there is no grass at most of the stands due to drought? There is no visible leadership to complain to only workers who half the time cannot answer you - perhaps going back to the reception would have helped but you have to drive there. Bathrooms unattended, people smoke inside facilities, under aged children walking around vaping like crazy. We had to wait in line every night for a chance to shower and got the tub 1 time in our 10 day stay. The floors are flooded, drains not draining properly, hair and sludge of who knows what lying around in showers. Entertainment could use some pickup.
My suggestion is you get students who are learning towards this type of industry to help out during holidays like all the other places do. Get life savers who can manage your rides and slides. My nephew was almost kicked out the super tube by another group of kids coming down in a train right behind him. Then they fell on top of him the the pool. The worker at the top sat there sleeping. Nobody from the reserve was nearby to report to and then the mother has the audacity to tell me to apologize to her son after I scolded him for his behavior. Then you have people sitting around the main pool with a flippen monkey!!! Are pets allowed? No guys you have such a nice place with so much potential but stop trying to milk every last cent out of us and upgrade your facilities

If you are looking for a quiet camping experience in nature, then you're not looking for Dube. Really a great campsite, very well managed facilities. Ample bathrooms and washing up facilities, regularly serviced.
There is a on-site, shop for basic, sweets, ice, wood and even some meats and wors. Warm (indoor) and cold (outdoor) pools. Put-put and it looks like they are putting up a super-tube (not built yet at time of writing review).
It is a large campsite, with lots of people during busy weekends. Very popular, and for good reasons. But the people are great, all well mannered campers that enjoy the kids riding around on their bicycles. The campsite is in an enclosed area inside the game reserve, so kids are safe inside.
Can drive around in the game reserve to see the animals and enjoy nature.
Great place for camping!

The price is currently R400.00 per stand a night and allowed 4 people. extra children at R100.00 each as they concider any children as adults. my advise is to go to their Web site for latest prices as it depends when you visit them.
