What a wonderful place!! With lush lawns, great camp sites, dams stocked with plenty fish, hot water pools, cold water pools, putt-putt, a super-tube, 'the Garden of Eden walk, ample canoes, there is not enough time in a weekend to thoroughly enjoy every part of this resort. And a added bonus, all the actives are for FREE (no kids begging for an extra R5 for their very very last super-tube ride..)!
It is well kept and clean. I hope and pray it stays this way for generations to come. :)

We called Klein Paradys to confirm if they are open on 1 Jan. We were qouted R100 entry fee on the phone. When we got there, the price asked for entry was R150. Even though we enjoyed our day, we feel this was unethical and corrupt. We are in doubt of their business practice, and will take this into consideration if we ever want to visit the resort again. Ablutions are also a bit primitive for the price you pay, and camping cramped to capacity.

What an experience December to eventually got a opening space at Klein Paradys. They are already booked out for 2017 for all the long weekends. This is the best place to find ourself again, so relaxed. Caravan site the best ever I seen in North West with the drought we had last year. Nice grass, paving and the cleanest restrooms ever. Enough entertainment for the kids, from put-put, supper tube (x3), fishing and swimming (hot and cold).

We had a storm during the weekend and we had to make use of the laundry room. They refused to give us any R5 coins so we had to drive all the way back to Brits to withdraw money so we could dry our clothes and towels. Very unhelpful. Bathrooms are neglected during the evenings. Terrible road to get there. Lots to do but overrated and overpriced. Definitely not worth 4stars.

Management cares about their pockets, not the kampers.
Due to school term date changes. They accomodate their bank balance not their kampers. Brilliat kamp, but they wont see us again.

Subtrack days to paid booking due to lockdowns then still subtrack penalties on funds paid...

The facility is really nice. I am not sure whether it's worth 4 stars though. The ablution smells and the flies kill you. The management has no idea of how to deal with challenging situations. All the facilities were not in operation as specified. If there was a worse rating that 1, I would have given that to them. Someone almost drowned in the dam due to no control. This is because they don't have life jackets available. Safety a major concern. Continuous power trips during our stay. Poor access to stands.

We just returned from a camping weekend at Klein Paradys Caravan Park and ... "an awesome time" does not even begin to describe it. It is our second camp at this caravan park and even though it is some distance to drive from our home, we will return there.

Little things make it really worth it like:

The fact that we can already enter the campsite at 8:00 AM (Friday morning) is great, then we get to set up camp before it is too hot and spend basically a full day there (sort of extra).

Afterwards the whole family runs for the swimming pools and the array of super-tube and speed-slides which are a lot of fun. The kids play so hard that by 8:00 PM in the evenings they slip right into the sleeping bags with no real effort needed from the parents.

The camp site is superbly clean and the gardens are kept very neat. Each camp spot has a paved area, water and electricity and best of all a natural tree canopy (almost fully shaded). You therefor only use a rally tent for cover if it rains, not for shade.

The owner is also actively checking at general arrival time that everybody is it ease before the night falls.

Last thing, all activities such as canoe-riding, slides etc. is included in the weekend price.

Treat yourself and visit this place, it is truly worth it.
