On the 22 October 2023 My wife son and I booked inat the Reserve just past 7pm at the Kokoriba Game Reserve. We went to the shale and unpacked our things in to the cubert's and the fridge. Saturday morning the 23 October 2023 my wife woke up to make us some coffee and when she took the milk out of the fridge the milk was off i then told my wife not to worry about it it must have been the shop where we bought the milk fault. Then my Family and i went to the water park until 4/5 Pm we then went back to the shale and my wife wanted to treat me with a glass of champagne and some snacks that was in the fridge but when she took them out all the items in the fridge went Bad. We then phoned the office and they said that it would be replaced. When we spoke to the management a lady with blonde hair she made people with blonde hair look bad because she told me that the fridge broke because we put hot Milk, yogurt etc. into the fridge. that same lady's husband he is also a manager we had a argument about people walking around with open firearms and as far as I know it is against the law. Monday morning I called the head office in Pretoria where we booked our stay. and their response was that it was my fault because we did not check if the fridge was in working condition. I don't have anything against Kokoriba Game Reserve it is a lovely Well maintained and clean place. I can say the same about the restaurant. The white male manager was never to be found and when you did find him he was either in the swimming pool or he was in town away from the reserve.

We did not have one peaceful night at Kokoriba. It was like a party camp. The rules state clearly no music. It was unbearable with all the loud music. We phoned the manager constantly about the noise but it seems there are no rules implemented at Kokoriba. It's a lovely place but they they will never see us again. We were told by the manager that he can't tell people to switch their music off.....but it's stipulated in the rules. This is a game reserve.....but if you want to party and play loud music that is the place to go. Very disappointed with their management. And numerous couples complaint about the noise.

My parents visited the park for my mother's birthday and they always speak of such admiration and the highest praise. They often visit. As it was my mother's birthday, I called the admin office to ask for a special request. I spoke to Zelme Jacobs and she and Izelle Smith arranged for a beautiful card, chocolate and the invitation to dinner, this was delivered with so much love. The evening was planned with the utmost hospitality and my mother had the most wonderful time. They were served by lovely Wilma and she further perfected their evening. People like them are the salt of the earth and delight the world around us. They make a great place perfect!!!

After a hectic 2021 with the loss of my husband, mother and dad all in 9 months, I took my daughter and my two nieces here for a breakaway and a reset. We rented a Boendoe cabin and the kids loved the whole stay. Safe, neat, clean, friendly service. They especially loved the golf carts and animal sights and tons of friends. The big pools are a delight. The only problem that I had is that I forgot a small aluminium camping table in between the two single beds (for my nieces) and that went missing between them cleaning the chalet and me checking out. Tried to obtain info as I realised my mistake not packing it into the car - no one knew anything. Note - during your stay it is self service to keep your chalet clean -- which is in hindsight best. During our stay, friends of mine and their family also stayed there (camping). We will be all be back and I've recommended it to an elderly friend and her husband - they went and loved their stay too.

If you want to break away and do not want to drive too far this is the place to go to. We as a family stayed in two 4 bed chalets which suited us perfect as it is situated adjacent to each other. The braai facility is under cover which is a great plus if it rains.

We visited Kokoriba Game Reserve with the family and stayed in a 5 bed chalet as the 6 bed chalet was already booked. The chalet was extremely tiny with no cleaning service and only the minimum stuff available. We were not able to check in at the indicated time as they were still busy fixing the roof of the chalet. Not the friendliest welcome we got at reception. There is no grass anywhere except at the swimming area, so it is very dry and dusty. The guy working at the bar area was also not friendly and made sure to let me feel very unwelcome and rather helping people who came after me and I also waited then for 20 minutes for a milkshake. Would rather recommend another place than Kokoriba.

Arrived with a friendly welcome, received our keys and was amazed by the quality and clean chalet. Everything was in order. Our chalet was nice and private. The pools are nice and clean, one pool cold, one slightly warmer and the indoor warm water pool, gardens are well kept, cleaned everyday. We had a wonder breakfast at the restaurant and is highly recommended (farmhouse). There is some wildlife and tons of birds, which join you in the morning on your "stoep" to great you with thier friendly songs. This is a perfect place to get away from the hussle and bussel from the city, just a 2 hour drive from Johannesburg. Can wait for our next retreat. Thank you and your staff for a wonderful stay.

Absolutely everything g you could possibly need. Put your feet up, relax and be fed, spoiled, waited on. Heated and regular pool- which is warm all year round. Drive yourself through the game reserve in gold carts. Get up close and personal with giraffes, buck, and other residents. No dangerous animals or predators, so you won't be eaten. Don't get a chaplet next to the pool unless you have children who want to play there a lot, its noisy. Just an hour and half drive for Om Jo'burg

With two boys 5 and 9 and a wife who enjoys the warmer water pools. It was a let down to realise the outside pools are both cold pools, unlike earlier this year the one outside pool was also heated. With 3 stop and goes from Jhb to Kokoriba you need to add about 45 minutes travel time. With no grass around the chalets or camping areas it is very dusty and sandy. Possibly visiting in the rainy season would be better. With many alternatives out there at similar prices, I would think twice before visiting again.
