Arriving at the reception we were instructed where to drive and that the key was in the door. What a surprise when we followed a gravel road about 2 km to our Klipspringer Villa that was situated amongst the rocky outcrops. In fact, it was built right into the rocks and absolutely remarkable. As we only stayed one night we did not make use of the BBQ or kitchen facilities other than the full refrigerator. The shower came right out of the rock as you stood in a dishes rock base. Large windows provided expansive views of the property and also private patios amongst the rocks.
We enjoyed a delicious lamb and pasta dinner with a finishing sweet at the farmhouse and a full breakfast in the garden before leaving for Walvis Bay. This is a remarkable stop above the Spreetshoogt Pass that will become a forever memory should you stay for a night.

Emmeri, (The Check-in Lady) was very helpful and the prices for this weekend for the MTB race was affordable. we are even thinking of going to the hiking race in August. There was tents with stretchers and blankets available with enough space in the campsite for all vehicles.

Spent once again our last namibian night on campsite 11 - in our eyes the most attractive of all. It offes remoteness, while still beeing close to the pool. Great infrastructure, with shower & toilet built into the natural surrounding (rocks that radiate the warmness late into the night).

The Campsites are set among rocky hillsides as separated units, each with a toilet and basin, and separate shower. There is a large kitchen tent with wash-sink. We had unit 1, which looks out over the hills on one side and towards the mountains on the horizon on the other. You can walk freely in the area, and there are interesting birds. There is a large dam, that had water, and on it were pelicans and a range of waterbirds, which we had not managed to see elsewhere. We spent two nights, and it is a great place to just hang out and relax. Would be an excellent break on the way from Windhoek to Sosus. Everything was clean and neat, and the staff light a donkey in the evening for hot water. You can purchase firewood, ice, braaipacks, and home made bread, as well as jams and beers etc. There is WIFI at reception. The Owners were very friendly and welcoming. All in all a great experience.

This place was fantastic because the sites were well-spaced and positioned at the base of a stunning rocky ridge. Each site had a covered cooking area, a fire pit with seating, a sink with running water, and a flush toilet. We felt like we were in the wilderness the entire time. The place was loaded with birds, and I observed fifty-some species across our one-night stay. It's a great place to relax and explore. There were also several very friendly dogs at reception. Do not miss this place if you're in the area! Staff were super.

We stayed in the campsites. Sandra and Kalf, who run it, we’re the perfect host, from a very warm welcome, always attentive to even teaching the kids how to bake bread. The campsite was perfect, with a very generous gazebo for shadow and rain, great ablution facilites and a good refreshing pool. We did several walks around the huge grounds crossing a few animals. We could also buy from them all provisions from the delicious bread to meat for the braai. Hopefully we will be back, very special place!

Thank you to the team at Namib Grens for a fantastic weekend. The tents and bedding provided were very comfy and despite the rare rain and cold we stayed dry and cosy. The champagne breakfast's home made bread was a absolute treat!

Everything was on point, the food was full of flavor, they freshly baked bread was so crispy and yummy, the rooms are somethng else, the way they designed the place is breathtaking. We enjoyed the swimming pools, and the fact that we could play volleyball there as a team, some of the Namibgrens staff members set it up for us for free. They also have a massive chess board game that you can play for free. The friendly Managers were intteracting with us, we felt home. Excellent Customer Service they went beyond meeting our needs. We will definitly visit Namibgrens Guest Farm again.

Such a pity that we did not have another day or two to spend at Namibgrens. Setting of both campsites and chalets are absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately we could not use our initial booking of a camp site due to unforeseen circumstances, but management had us upgraded to the most beautiful chalet in no time and at a very reasonable price. All our requests and needs were met with friendly professionalism and warm hospitality. We will definitely return one day for a proper breakaway.

The campsite at Namibgrens is just fabulous, each one built into huge boulders with open air showers and toilets facing into the veld. It's a Namibian working farm, and gives you the unique experience of being a part of that. A rock pool at 1 campsite and an actual pool at our campsite. Really friendly hosts. A definite return visit campsite.

Room Tip: Spreetshoogte Pass is spectacular , but be prepared for it. Quite easy now it has been 'bricked'.
