Pousada Casa Rosa, also known as Pousada das Cerejeiras, is located at the end of the main access road to the city of Alto Paraíso de Goiás. Close to the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park. Our hotel is completely surrounded by vegetation, orchards, flowers, trees and a creek. It has a breathtaking view of the "Vale do Moinho" and the mountain range that crosses the ecological reserve of the Chapada dos Veadeiros. Its location favors those who appreciate nature and tranquility without leaving the comfort, hospitality and quality of our venue and services.
We stayed in a chalet for 3 adults and it was very small. There was no light over the sink and all lighting was very poor. I asked for a light bulb and I was told they would be down to our room in 15 min. I ended up going back and getting the light bulb myself. We had tiny ants on our bed the first night when we went to retire and along the wall on the floor and in our shower. They gave my husband a can of spray to spray. The door did not easily close. No batteries in the remote or proper hook-up for the extremely small screen; although you don't go to watch TV. The maintenance and up-keep is terrible. The showers are electric and we had NO HOT WATER. That was not pleasant since we were doing a lot of hiking. The food was okay. Not a lot of choices. TripAdvisors has given this Pousada awards however I cannot see why other than seeing the beautiful Macaws and location.…

We enjoyed our stay at this pousada. The property and rooms are impeccably clean, the bed was large and comfortable. Service is friendly and helpful. They have a sauna (really a steam room) available in the evenings; you have to request them to turn it on. Swimming pool was also very clean. Nestled among trees with chattering araras (macaws). Charming, and a good value.

This pousada covers quite a big area, with small holiday houses that accomodate two seperate rooms. You can park your car next to one of the small houses. The breakfast, reception and pool are all near the entrance of the pousada area. It is like a small park, with lots of fruit trees and many birds flying around (arara's too, I even spotted a tucan near the pool!). It is situated just outside of the center, but only a 15 minute walk from it. Couple of good restaurants there. The room has a tv, wifi and a small patio with a hammock. We had the occasional power failure - apparantly not unusual in this area - but that was fixed quickly.

I traveled with my parents, sisters and husband and it was great overall. It is very well located, walking distance from downtown, the staff is very nice and friendly, decent breakfast, and the rooms are spacious and clean. We enjoyed swimming pool and sauna almost every day after the visits. In the evenings, Leni prepared delicious soups. The only downside (there is no a/c in the rooms) turned out to be irrelevant as the weather drops in the evenings, making it very pleasant to sleep. Wifi is not very strong but it does the trick.

My family and I were at Casa Rosa during Carnival. The four of us stayed in two flats, which are brand new and very big (so much so that one room would have fitted us all). There is no fanciness, but they do offer everything you might need (including very welcomed mosquito nets). The only downside is the wifi. Does it work? Yes, but not in every room. Though considering you are at Chapada dos Veadeiros, internet is probably not your priority anyway. Breakfast is well served, but since we stayed during a very busy period and all rooms were booked, it was slightly crowded. I personally did not stay at Casa Rosa for anything but breakfast, shower, and bed, but my mother greatly enjoyed the massages they offer. There is also a swimming pool and lots of green (but that is a bit redundant when you are in Alto Paraíso). Overall, a great experience.…

Very nice place. The rooms are large and comfortable. Very good breakfast. The best part was the garden with lots of fruit trees. The pool was very nice. If you go to Alto Paraíso then I recommend that you rent a car.

Pousada Casa Rosa is a simple, but comfortable inn surrounded by nature in a quiet farm like area. Breakfast is included and they also offer free wifi. The Pousada is close to hiking trails, waterfalls, rivers, mountains and canyons.

This is a very nice place to stay for a few days. The rooms are big, as well as the bathroom. Very good breakfast, plenty of options of fruits, breads, etc. The bed was amazing, and the open area with plenty of fruit trees is very pleasant. The restaurants options in the city are very good too. It´s just a little bit far away from the city downtown. If you are not driving a car, yo9u should request for a taxei.

Very nice place, clean, calm, friendly owners. The rooms are nice although a bit small. The cottages in the garden are bigger. Close to Chapada dos Veadeiros national park. The owners of the pousada can arrange trips for you, help you to reserve different services (tour guides, massage, etc.). To be recommended!
